Nestled amidst lush greenery, Casa Heliconia offers a unique and immersive experience that transports you to a world of natural beauty and tranquility. The property is a work of art in itself, with meticulously designed gardens and exquisite attention to detail. Every corner of this boutique retreat is a photo-worthy moment waiting to be captured. The staff at Casa Heliconia are genuinely exceptional. From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests. The level of attentiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the team was truly remarkable. The dining experience at Casa Heliconia was a culinary delight. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The chef's creativity shone through in every dish, and we were constantly surprised and delighted by the flavors and presentations.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hosts are super kind and lovely people. They greeted us with a drink, helped carry our backpacks, ordered food for us and prepared a delicious breakfast. Additionally, they arranged transportation to our next destination. The place is very clean as well. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return.

The place is very clean and close to the city, walking distance to main road. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming. Aunty and uncle always made us feel like home. We will definitely come again.

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.

This Hotel is the best place you can stay when you arrive at night in Sri Lanka. The instructions where to wait for the free airport pickup were very easy to follow and I was picked up 5 minutes after I got there. At the hostel I got free water, other drinks (juice/beer) and bananas and in the morning a wonderful breakfast containing fruit, toast with butter/jam, omelette and tea. He also gave me a SIM card for free and installed it for me on my phone, which was wonderful and way cheaper than the airport. The whole staff is very nice and they help you with whatever you need! Before I arrived he helped me with figuring out how to get to my next destination and when I arrived, he connected me with another girl at the hostel who wanted to go in a similar direction so we could share a taxi. The taxi he organised as well. The room was very clean and it had everything you could need, AC included. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want a carefree arrival/departure and a good start into you holiday!

It was a wonderful stay at Veyangoda.

It was a wonderful stay at Veyangoda. The owner and the service was excellent, they were so kind and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool had an amazing view and was wonderful. It was very reasonably priced for all that we got. Such lovely people.
