Nice and cozy place. Hidden in the garden not far from central street. Railway station, frut spot ant tuk-tuk parking are close. The owner and his wife are kind, generous and honest people. And what wonderful breakfasts they serve!!!!! With fruits and local dishes. The owner built this cabins by himself during the coronavirus period, so everything is new and clean. We spent their 3 nights, and can recommend it for longer staying.

Villa 73 Unawatuna was our best hotel in Sri Lanka. It was a spacious and clean and equipped room. We received a delicious and plentiful breakfast. They taught me how to make roti and coconut sambol. The host and staff were extremely polite. They helped us with everything. They are lovely team! I recommend to everyone.

The location was perfect. Very close to local restaurants and the beach with just 5 minutes walk away. But also very peaceful day and night :) The room was spotless and built to a high standard. In fact…. It was one of the best we stayed in during our trip in Sri Lanka. We even booked another night which we didn’t plan as we loved it so much. The staff are very kind and helpful - thank you! I would definitely come back to stay here on my next visit!

Absolutely breathtaking views from the moment you step into the lobby. The location is a bit further away from the bustle of the city, but navigation via tuk-tuk is quick and easy. Hotel also offers free transport to a nearby beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful, helped us book a tour at an incredible rate and made sure that every second of our stay was comfortable. Our stay at Sielen Diva exceeded all expectations for many reasons: - The villa is GORGEOUS - the pictures on the booking page are already beautiful, but in person it's even more beautiful. The common areas are comfortable and the room was spaceous, luxurious and worked well for our 7 day stay. The close proximity to the nearly private, quiet beach is also a massive a massive bonus as the beaches in the area are fairly crowded with tourists. - The food is DELICIOUS - we traveled around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and the food at Sielen Diva was the best we had throughout our whole trip. The menu is extensive with everything from Avocado toast and granola bowls in the morning to delicious fresh juices, specialty cocktails, home made ice cream to more traditional sri lankan food such as curries. I also have to mention that the chef and villa manager are super attentive to their guests' needs. Every evening we got a special mix of curries, one of us is allergic to onion and the food was adapted to this and we briefly mentioned that we love mangoes, after which we got fresh mango daily. - The staff is the KINDEST we've ever experienced - the villa staff was honestly what made our trip (on top of everything else). Everyone is SO SO friendly, helpful and caring. I want to give a special mention to the villa manager George who went above and beyond throughout the whole week to make our stay comfortable and smooth, organising rides, a special birthday celebration with cake, giving advice, picking up fresh veggies, seafood and fruit from the farmer's market and generally being an amazing human. Both of us have traveled loads around the world and stayed at top notch hotels and our experience at Sielen Diva was among the best (if not the best) hotel experience we've ever had. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!!!

The location is absolutely perfect, near a very calm beach. We had a room with seaview and the view was stunning. The room was spacious and clean. It does not have a fridge, but we did not need it. The hotel provides a beach towel. They provide only one bath towel per person (there is no small towel for face), otherwise all good. The kettle and electrical adapter were provided under request.

Its a fantastic place, just at the beach and well planned hotel, pools, beach, restaurants, bars, lobbys are equally catering to customer service points. We had our best hotel experience at Araliya Unawatuna. Even met the owner and had a generous chat during breakfast which is so touching and personalized service standard I believe. Easy to visit Galle Fort, just a walk to the golden sandy beaches. Staff from top management to the ground staff is well trained to give excellent customer care. We specially thanking to our 7th flour room service staff who simply helped us in technical support, bars and restaurant staff and Nethmi & Dakshika and all wonderful reception staff memebers.

Small village with the best Ocean I've ever seen/feel. Only Ocean is enough for me to spent here a month. And nothing to do without Ocean. The rests are good, but not exceptional, no museums or viewpoints, a few attractions maybe wildlife nature, but not more.

Wonderful beach.

Wonderful beach. Unawatuna is tropical bliss: golden crescent beach, clear snorkeling waters, and a relaxed vibe. The beachfront villa was stylish, spotless, with ocean-view balconies and perfect sunrise views. Prime location—steps to the shore, near cafes and jungle paths, yet peaceful. Flawless in every way.

we stayed here at the end of September so the sea was not as...

we stayed here at the end of September so the sea was not as calm as it would normally be (or so the locals told us) but you could still go into the sea but maybe not for too long. We enjoyed ambling around the town and going into Gaul more. We used the pool at our hotel more than the beach here.

All sea view rooms and the room we stayed in was very spacious . A few minutes walk to jungle beach. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements to get our meals sorted. There is a kitchen and if we bring the raw materials we can even cook on our own , just need to pay them for the space we use. Over all I enjoyed unwatuna because it was conveniently located too.

Great place to go we stayed three nights I would stay less. Slightly more expensive than Mirrisa and the tourist are mainly Russian. Turtle beach is great. Recommend as best place to see turtles for free .

Great place to stay. Located a bit out of town, but you can walk to Unawatuna beach in 15/20mins and Turtle beach in 10mins. The view on the ocean from the room is very nice and the room has a good bed and warm shower. Next to all this, is the very warm and friendly staff. They helped us out with our tuktuk together with some other tuktuk drivers that are always around the corner. For breakfast it would be nice if they could offer also more Sri Lankan next to the toast, fruit and egg.

The hotel is ideally located in Unawatuna making it easy to access Galle -Colombo Main road and the beach. The check-in process was smooth-and the staff was friendly and helpfulI. was able to check in/check out with no issues, and the staff provided me with all the information I needed. My room was clean and particularly enjoyed the sea view .However the dialog tv did not work. Restaurant and their foods were so delicious.

We absolutely loved it. The hotel was luxurious, clean, view from the terrace was amazing and the staff was super friendly. The pool was great too. Breakfast was also very good (try the Sri lankan choice at least once!) and the location was perfect - there are many beaches around and Galle city center only 10 minutes by car and its beutiful.

The hotel was so beautiful and right next to Unawatuna beach. Facilities were very clean and modern with rooms serviced daily. Buffet breakfast was really nice and Samantha Sankar and the other guys were very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again if we come to Unawatuna. 10/10 for everything
