The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of - Especially Leel's mom, will treat you like your own mom! We also loved the food and the thoughtful touches, like the fresh flowers. If you are also interested in Safari, look for no other! We loved the pool, temperature was perfect. From the pool we had a view of the river, there was plenty of birdlife to watch, also saw mongoose and large lizard. The owner really cares about the service he is providing. The meals were all amazing and he was accommodating when on the second day we only wanted a light lunch of sandwiches. He organised a good safari for us and was there as we left for safari even though it was 5am. Really recommend this accommodation.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

This place is one of my favorites in Sri Lanka! It was such a beautiful surprise! Calm area, very nice outdoor setting, the room was very spacious (as was the bathroom!) So let's talk details: - Food: Amazing! Home cooked food, with candlelight and the sounds of nature! - Safari: He was a very good company during my trip! He gave me some tips, was very flexible with my requests. - Helpfulness: Arranged a taxi to my next destination, Overall, it was totally worth it, you will really enjoy it! !

Where to start... We had a wonderful stay! Our host Ravidu is a very kind man, he welcomed me and my girlfriend into his family. We will forever be grateful for the special memories created there. His wife cooked us delicious traditional Sri Lankan food at night. Thank you very much ☺️ The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a place to hang out on the terrace. There are many beautiful plants around the property that give it a jungle feel. We saw many tropical birds around. I 100% recommend booking a safari through Ravidu, he partners with a guide with many years of experience. The safari guide was knowledgeable about the animals and different species we saw on the safari. He was very respectful of the wildlife and drove slowly through the park unlike other jeeps..!!

The location of the cottage is fantastic, within walking distance to Udawalawe Handhi. The room is beautifully designed with huge glass windows to appreciate nature. Very clean. The host welcomed us warmly, and I must mention: this is where we had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. It was provided to us for free.. Thank you!

We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House!

We really enjoyed Ravidu Safari House! It is located about 5 minutes from the entrance of Udawalawe Park and is in a beautiful location among the trees. The manager Ravidu and his wife were very friendly and organized a wonderful safari for us to the park. We saw over 50 elephants and other animals, so we had a great time. Our room at the hotel was large, comfortable and very clean. We also had a lovely dinner at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to do a safari in Udawalawe.

The accommodation in this place has magical peace and quiet.

The accommodation in this place has magical peace and quiet. The cabin is clean, air conditioned. Our host in the main building prepared us excellent Sri Lankan food. He is a wonderful, smiling and funny man with a wonderful family. We decided to go on a safari, which he helped us organize. As promised, our guide spoke good English and was able to identify animals that we would not have seen on our own. We highly recommend this place!

The hotel is just great, over the road from the edge of Udawalawe National Park and if an elephant comes to the road side they’ll ring you to let you know. We saw monitor lizards and smaller lizards at the hotel too. The swimming pool is perfect to relax by and the rooms were very nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and recommended things to do in the local area and coordinated our safari for us. The food at the restaurant was very nice

We travelled Sri Lanka for 4 weeks with our 1 year old baby. This Hotel was the best!!! Its such a nice property, with little kids playground, awesome dining area, awesome pool, nice staff and awesome rooms! It was like paradise! It was clean, food was awesome, had drinks and dinner every day! It is close to Udawalawe National Park and you can book the tour organised by the hotel without hesitation!

We booked the Mansala Safari house to do a safari in Udawalawe National Park. The owner and his family are very friendly and helpful, they made sure you have everything you need. The homemade dinner was THE BEST dinner we had in our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka! The room had a nice balcony where we could sit, read and watch the monkey play in the garden.

The owner of the hotel also owns a Safari Jeep and organized for us a Safari to the Udawalawa National Park.
