The best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far , the owner was super nice he did everything he could for us and more . The room was very clean and shower had hot water. He prepared the best breakfast for us in the morning and arranged the transport for our next destination. Highly recommend

We stayed for 4 nights and would certainly return! Overall a fantastic hotel. Hotel setting is idyllic with amazing pool to lounge around and only 10 metres from the beach - but privacy maintained by palm trees which also provide some much needed shade! Free bodyboards to borrow should you fancy some water-sports which we used everyday :) Only 10 rooms, so very personal (and fantastic) service and small hotel feel which was fab. Felt very secure. Hotel bar located upstairs above the main restaurant is a nice spot for pre dinner cocktails - which were great. Downstairs, right next to the pool is the restaurant which serves fantastic food - the menu is rotated every day for lunch and dinner, so plenty of variety if staying for a few days. Breakfast also very good, and the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka! Everything is cooked fresh to order, but this does mean some meals took a while to arrive particularly at breakfast (our only recommended area of improvement for the hotel)! We intended to do a few day trips, but the hotel was so good we ended up only venturing out for one evening. We hope to return!

The staff was wonderful :) I got a bit sick at the beginning of the stay and the host very helpful and attentive with extra food and medication. Sri Lankan breakfast was fine, the hotel is walking distance to the nice beach, but far away enough from the main road, so it is not noisy. There are very nice restaurants near by. The room has a terase/balcony for drying towels, clothes, having a drink, etc.

Amazing place and service! We stayed in many 5-star accommodations during our travels, but this place has much better service. The people are amazing—friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The villas are very clean and beautiful, as is the pool area. The food is also excellent. I can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing location on the beach. We have been in two different rooms during our stay and both were excellent with fabulous views and comfortable beds. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ok, but can be improved a little bit. Nice swimming pool where you can swim because the sea is a bit rough. We really enjoyed our stay there. A highly recommend place!

Lots of gorgeous beaches nearby don’t stay on the main town beach. Take a bus to silent beach / Goyambokka beach / red beach / pallikudwua etc - you could walk from the town to Red beach and Pallikafwua too in 30 minutes Free sunbeds if you eat/ drink at the local beach bars at every beach

Tangalle is a cozy, small city where you find whatever you need. A variety of beaches in and around in both directions, some of them really hidden gems, but also quiet family beaches where you can bring your kids.

The owners and staff were delightful - the service great.

The owners and staff were delightful - the service great. The cabannes were in the style of my travels 50 years ago and a great reminder of how simple life can (and should) be. For eating there is plenty of choice in the area and all easy walking but not always in 32 deg 😂

Tangalle is a mix of typical large commercial local Sri Lankan town buzz combined with touristy beach / restaurant / bar area. Very laid back along that 'strip', many bars and restaurants vying for business so you can be selective.

Perfect place to relax by the beaches, some of them are like or similar a near private beach type; but, difficult to swim. Generally, the waves and current are rough and sometime dangerous to rocky beaches; in early morning time, 9-10 am, waves and current can be managed to some extent....

It’s more of a local sleepy town and less touristy than the rest of the south coast. Lots of great beaches and family run restaurants. I could have easily used it as a base and stayed longer had the weather been better.

Beautiful place to stay in a peaceful quiet location, excellent service from every staff member :) short walk to the empty beach where you can walk just by yourself. Not much restaurants close by, but hotel has very good restaurant so you don't even need others. They will arrange you tuktuk if you want to go to Tangalle etc. Room was very clean and bed was good to sleep, also every room has big terrace/balcony. Highly recommend and would go again when in Sri Lanka.

The hotel is located on a beautiful, private beach with a small bar where you can buy food and drinks. Beautiful, large, clean pool and the best view🥰 Nice, large, bright rooms. The hotel serves delicious food.😋 And above all, very nice staff and a very lovely family who make you feel at home. ❤️ If we return to Sri Lanka again we will definitely stay again.😍
