If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

Fantastic staff at Subaseth villa they were kind enough to help us with everything we needed for a great stay. Big bedrooms comfortable beds and really great food. It's outside town very peaceful and a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful location, a little off the beaten track. Rooms very big and the bed so comfortable. Staff were really lovely and the food amazing. We stayed an extra night. There is a lovely pool too. Comms via whats app was great and really responsive

We would rate the staff here 20 on 10 if we could. My partner had a bad accident at the property and had to go the emergency. The manager Radhika and staff Priyantha and Prashan were immensely supporting and caring during this traumatic episode. Special mention to Priyantha who came with me in the ambulance and stayed late into the night while doctors assisted my partner. Like the name of the resort, they really did treat us like family. Radhika also wanted to waive meals we didn’t have and after much insisting on our parts at least charged us for some. Radhika also brought food to the hospital and picked us up. Outstanding support by all the staff for which we are deeply grateful. About the property, we stayed in the cabana the first night but could not avail of the facilities as the accident happened. We did enjoy our brief time there - the balcony overlooks a garden and a lake. The traditional easy chairs were lovely. Comes with a small fridge and kitchen space - so would suit a family. We really enjoyed the pool very much with the interesting lion feature. We had dinner on night which was nice. On the second night we were in the double room which was also comfortable. Sadly we could not see much of Anuradhapura so we hope to come back and stay here again. Wishing the staff here the very best and thanking them again for their kindness.

This place was amazing, the food was great the outlook from our deck was so peaceful. We found the owner and staff so helpful. They assisted in finding us a tour guide and helped us organise transport back to Colombo. Suggested Restaurants that served fantastic food. We can not recommend this place more highly.
