A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. My stay at Sea Star Boutique Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality made me feel at home, and they always went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed. A special mention goes to the manager, Asela, who is exceptionally professional, kind, and highly efficient. His dedication to providing top-notch service is truly commendable, and he ensures that everything in the hotel runs smoothly. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests make a huge difference. The hotel itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are excellent. This was our 16th place to stay in Sri Lanka. It has to be the most peaceful, relaxing and chilled out of all. Lovely clean, spacious room, with a small seating area which we loved the views onto the lake. The staff were exceptional! We also hired their kayaks and went for a trip on the serene lake. We’ll remember this place and would definitely return.

This was the most exceptional hotels I have stayed at, not just in Sri Lanka, but all my travels. The hotel is situated on the beach with a more than spacious room and sophisticated amenities. However, what made this hotel stand out was the way the staff treated us. They were proactive in their hospitality and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was pleasant and even the MD of the Resort personally came up to me and ensured that I was having an exceptional stay.

We stayed for 6 nights at plantation house and loved this hotel. It was a wonderful place to relax after a few weeks travelling around Sri lanka. Peter was a brilliant host and we loved the beautiful breakfasts on the terrace. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean as are the grounds and lovely swimming pool. It’s in a lovely peaceful location, an easy 10 minute walk to the beach/ small supermarket and main road or easy to arrange a tuk tuk further into Hikkaduwa town. We had a great time and highly recommend!
