I stayed with my friend in this fabulous property with direct access to the beach. It seemed like being in a private paradise. In fact, in addition to the super cozy room, with hot water, air conditioning and super clean, they had access to the outdoor area equipped with deck chairs and a hammock surrounded by greenery and peace. The owner, the boy and the lady who worked there were super nice and friendly, always available for our every need. Even their dog Rocco, stayed with us all night to keep us company while we enjoyed the sound of the waves. It was one of the best moments spent in Sri Lanka.

We enjoyed our stay at Kingfish villa in the month of March 2025. It was a very pleasant time. An optimal location to relax and experience the beautiful beach of Ranna at a distance of ca. 300 m. The owner Raveen is also an amazing person. He is very helpful and knows around Ranna, southern locations of SL and even other locations at wish. Also, there is the possibility to have him as a tour guide. He owns a restaurant as well where the food is exquisite. One can choose a variety of local foods and drinks too. Overall, remarkably good experience.

Our three days at fishermen’s lodge were super special, we felt so welcome and included in their family. The food in the restaurant was really amazing, the host is a great cook, we loved especially her rice and curry and the grilled fish. The traditional breakfast was also really good! The room was really simple, but still very clean and the host was always ready to help us in any way. You just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach which is nearly empty! In the morning the host took us fishing one time, which was the most special and fun experience! Overall we really recommend coming here for an authentic and local experience with extraordinary people! Thank you for everything! We might come back one time :)

We stayed in Lankavatara 9 days and we had a wonderful and restoring experience. We choose the location because is very quite and immerse in the nature and after 10 days going around the island we needed a break before leaving. What make our stay unforgettable has been also the staff, all are very helpful and professional, from the staff at the reception, the staff at the restaurant, the staff who clean, and the staff at the spa. I was looking for a little bit of luxury for a couple night during my 3 month travel of Sri Lanka and this place was it! So happy I booked here. The room was stunning spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a real treat with a huge shower and hot water and so clean! Complimentary robes and slippers, a safe and fridge in the room, luxurious pillows and furnishings made you feel like you were staying in a 5* resort. The view from the room over the lagoon was so serene and idyllic. The pool was gorgeous to sit by during the day. The staff were incredible, so friendly and caring, from welcome drinks and conversation to being brought a coconut by the pool whilst relaxing. Room service is available with a nice selection of wines of offer. The food was lovely in their restaurant and again tip top customer service and all with a smile. You can tell the people that run this have a real passion for it and they do a brilliant job! When I come back to Sri Lanka I will 100% stay here again! Thank you again to the hosts!

Staff is really attentive and helpful. This makes for a really stress free vacation as we did not have to worry about a thing. Food was delicious and always prepared fresh. Beach was as epic as it gets, long and wide sandy strip. Pool was well taken care of and loungers were plenty to be found in shade and in sun. Rooms, although simple, were comfortable and cleaned daily. Location is good, quiet and relaxing.

We had a amazing stay at the hobbit house. The owner and his mother were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a lot of questions during our stay and always got immediate help. The homemade breakfast was one of the best we had. Also the room is just absolutely beautiful and unique.
