Absolutely brilliant. We enjoyed our stay so much throughout the stay. The owner is so helpful and understanding. The property was super clean and spacious. The facilities are super and each room has bathrooms. The balcony has beautiful views of the lotus tower and beautiful buildings. The roof top pool is super we enjoyed it so much. Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂

Mohan the host is so helpful. This was my second stay at Di Leisure. Why did I come back? It's such a great location that makes you feel like you're out of the city when you're only 20 minutes from Galle Face Green. I love sitting on the balcony looking out across the river to the forest beyond. The pool is also such a welcome relief on those extra hot days too!

The variety of places to dine or go for a drink within the hotel met all our needs. The complimentary city tour gave us a great background to Colombo's history and was very interesting.

5 star hotel. Room bit outdated. Otherwise confortable and located on the sea. Beach not really to visit (the Port City will most probably upgrade it in the future). Great breakfast (as ShangriLa has). Good in-house restaurants but expensive. The food was nevertheless very good. Nice pool on 4th floor. Extra services (transfers, spa , etc) way overpriced (transfer to airport was 75 usd quoted by the hotel while a reputable taxi Kangaroo company with invoice and metre took me to the airport for 23 usd). Conected to a Mall with lots of shopping oportunities.
