We had the most unforgettable stay at The Lavender House in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views all around—truly a piece of paradise. We were welcomed with a wonderful surprise: a room upgrade to what felt like a private, luxurious villa. The space was unbelievably spacious and beautifully designed, offering total comfort and privacy. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the staff went above and beyond to make it special with lovely welcome snacks and a room decorated with such thoughtful detail—it meant so much to us. Our personal butler was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was a scenic tour organized for us, and they even packed a delicious lunch box, which was such a considerate touch. The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

what an amazing property. we were thoroughly looked after and nothing was too much trouble. the food was exceptional. we wanted traditional Sri Lankan curries and that’s what was prepared for us with spices and fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. the rooms were huge. the gardens and views were stunningly beautiful and so quiet except for the sounds of the birds and monkeys. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💕

The rooms were beautiful, we were given an upgrade to a room with a view of both the water fall and the reservoir. Absolutely breathtaking and great to watch sunset! The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hotel is so peaceful. It’s walking distance to Ramboda Falls and a short TukTuk ride to tea plantations. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this new hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the view was absolutely stunning. The pleasant scent in the room made it feel extra welcoming. Special thanks to manager Takshara, who took great care to ensure our comfort. We also ordered dinner at the restaurant - everything was very tasty. Highly recommended!
