What a great place. We needed one night in Badulla to catch a train the nexr day.. Perfect location. Brilliant staff - so helpful. The room was big and beautiful. The whole house was beautiful. Very new so spotlessly clean. Dinner was delicious. Perfect eggs for breakfast.

What a lovely place to stay. Incedible view that you can admire straight from your bed. Spacious and comfortable rooms that have everything you need: big and comfy bed, well equiped bathroom, big windows and a tarace where you will have delicious and healthy home made breakfasts. The room was very clean and all the property is well maintaned. And most of all I was very delighted by great hospitality and service provided by the owner. Highly recommend this place especially, if you want to be close to very lively Ella town, but far enough to rather enjoy sounds and beauty of nature. The view of the hills from the bar and restaurant is breathtaking. The decoration of the room is very arty and even unique. Would recommend this place as a retreat for resting too. It has a nice little pool. Staff is helpful and organizes tuktuks for you at the best price.

Room was spacious and excellent. The breakfast was also really good. The owner was a really nice guy and even packed us a small lunch for our hike that day. Location also perfect. Highly recommend.

This was honestly the best service I’ve experienced. The host family were so friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything we needed to know about Ella. One of the highlights was the incredible view. Watching the train pass through the hills was absolutely magical. Even after we checked out, the host kindly called us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ella!
