The cabanas are super unique and right on the beach. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and a tasty breakfast is amazing. Just a short walk down the beach there’s a surf spot with restaurants and board rentals. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for something a bit different and really special. Would definitely recommend! There’s a bus going to Panama from Arugam Bay and the owner of the property helped me to get a tuktuk taxi to the Cabana, so it was no problem that I don’t have a vehicle.

I was given a very warm welcome by the owner of the property and the staff. Owner very knowledgeable about wildlife in Sri Lanka, gave me excellent advice to plan my trips. Nice setup, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Had tasty Sri Lankan meals prepared to my choice. All in all had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Extremely helpful and polite owner and staff, everything was clean and tidy, Doctor Heshan (Owner) helped us with just about anything we could think off from arranging breakfast, barbeque dinner, recommending surf bays and trips to conversations about Sri Lanka ways of living. I accidentally saw this cabana on the internet and booked it for our family gathering. It's a very nice and relaxed place. I especially want to say Faiz brother who is incharge of the establishment. He is a very friendly person. He made a very delicious biryani at the first night we stayed. It was the most delicious biryani I have eaten in many countries of the world. If you go to Arugam Bay and want to eat delicious biryani, go Amwaj blue cabana. Faiz we will never forget you.

A wonderful place to stay, perfectly located just outside the busy tourist area, offering fantastic value. Close to empty and wide beach and surf areas around crocodile (5 min walk) and elephant rocks. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond with their hospitality and delicious meals. The rooms are spotless and modern. An absolutely delightful stay – highly recommended!

A hidden gem! My husband and me loved this place. The host is very welcoming and will help with anything. We've been there for a whole month and couldn't ask for more: fully equipped kitchen, sleeping room with air con, an own backyard with lots of palm trees, beautiful sunrises and a big deck upstairs. The house is actually at the beach, so you can watch the ocean anytime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place.

Absolutely incredible stay! We only stayed at the Rilu Relxa Villa in Arugam Bay for one night, but it was enough to completely fall in love with the place. Everything was perfect: from the beautiful setting to the peaceful vibe there. The villa was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Also the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing. Even though our stay was short, we are already planning to come back. This place is a true gem. highly recommended for anyone visiting Arugam Bay. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay! 😊
