We absolutely loved staying at Leel's cottage. The welcome by him and his wife was super nice, and the garden on their property looks like the garden of Eden! Especially the walkway to the cottage - WOW! And we were so pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the cottage. It was super clean and nice and the bed very comfortable. And then best of all was Leel. He took us on a 6-hour safari and he was such a great guide. He was very knowledgeable, showing us even the smaller animals that we couldn't see. And we saw so many elephants with him! We also got to talk to him after dinner, and the kind and interesting discussions are some of my favorite memories of our whole trip. If you're looking for where to stay in the area, I would highly recommend Leel's place.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

Very unique and beautiful accommodation, they put so much effort into every detail of the room. Only one room on the whole property and it's gorgeous, especially the floating bed and net terrace under all the trees. Very kind, warm and welcoming family. Would 10/10 recommend staying here in the Udawalawe area.

Everything was really great at this place. The rooms a very luxurious, clean and with love to detail. The balcony invited for some beautiful evening sit in. So quiet here aswell. Very close to the Udawalawe national park and the staff is just so friendly. The food Lalith cooked for us was real Sri Lankan cuisine and tasted better than everything we tried here before. Highly recommend this place

I truly enjoyed everything about my stay here. The grounds are very well-maintained, and both the pool and the rooms were perfectly clean. The bathroom was also very pleasant and modern. For breakfast, they serve a delicious European-style meal. A highlight for me was seeing the variety of fruit trees growing right on the property, including mango, jackfruit, lime, and bananas. Special thanks to the manager, Agith. He was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. He showed us around, arranged a lovely lunch upon our arrival, and organized an amazing morning safari for us. He was extremely helpful and made sure every request we had was taken care of. Highly recommended
