Everything was great! We were given the most luxurious room they had with a great view of the tea plantations and the city. The room was clean, cozy, hot water and good Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was bitten by a leech when I was walking around the plantations. I was immediately helped. Be sure to wear closed shoes if you are going to walk around the plantations.

The owner went above and beyond! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hotel is in a lovely location. Some reviews have mentioned the road - it actually was easier than other roads we travelled on to get to other hotels in Sri Lanka - no problem at all for our driver 😊. The food was excellent and the bed was so comfortable.

The people hosting the guest house were definitely my highlight. Roshan, his wife and daughter were so friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face! Roshan even dropped me at the railway station on the last day, which was super nice! The breakfast was very delicious and enough. The beds were super comfortable and the room very spacious. There is a shortcut to get into the city that‘s why the location of the guest house is also fine. Would definitely come back next time!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Croft Cottage! The property is a stunning British-style 3-storey villa, beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. The location is excellent, making it both peaceful and convenient. The cottage has lovely common areas that make it feel warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing together. All facilities are top-notch, thoughtfully provided, and everything worked seamlessly. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Taranga, the housekeeper, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable in every way. Staying at Bluechip Summer Bungalow was absolutely magical. The location, right in the middle of a tea plantation, and the beautiful British-style house surrounded by gardens make you feel part of Nuwara Eliya’s history. Our room was huge, with the most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely attentive and professional and the food was simply outstanding.They even arranged a walk for us to Lovers Leap waterfall, which is easily accessible from the hotel and was a perfect experience. A truly authentic stay in “Little England”. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a genuine atmosphere.
