The hotel is amazing, the decoration,, pool, and the staff if so friendly, installations are perfect, seeing monkeys playing in the trees across the road, the breakfast is divine! Especially the fruit juices and the yogurt with muesli etc. Also have a very good value laundry service. Location is great, a little out of town but only 5 minutes in tuktuk to the ford. We did the early morning boat tour as well 100% recommended !

This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. A spice traders house built in 1860 and completely renovated recently with lots of taste. The rooms, the living and dining areas, garden with the pool, everything is so beautiful and it feels it’s your own private home. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing and very tasty. The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful and super friendly. As it’s just a bit outside of Galle Fort, it’s super calm. But only a short stroll to reach the harbour with the local fisherman and the old town by foot. If not, a Tuk Tuk ride takes 5 minutes. Everything was just perfect.

Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. Amazing experience staying here. Every little detail is nicely thought out. Beautiful room and very clean. Great bed. Staff were kind and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Location is excellent. A little 5 min walk to main street and maybe 7-8 to the beach

Everything was just marvelous, the suit design, cleanliness and comfort. The view was astonishing and magnificent, we had a pool with jets like a jacuzzi in the balcony and it was spectacular. I am definitely coming back here. We extremely loved our stay. We had dinner in the Tempest restaurant, it was delicious and the Spa was amazing. Thank you Crystal Sands for making our stay an unforgettable one.
