I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

Lovely, comfortable hotel in Walapane. We loved everything about it. Our room with ensuite bathroom was fabulous, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We ate dinner and breakfast there, and both were delicious. Highly recommended.

Amazing old bungalow in amongst the tea plantation. Food was amazing- the best meal we had in Sri Lanka! Western but with Sri Lankan ingredients and fresh from their own garden. The staff were super helpful.

The most beautiful and hospitable hotel ived visited globally , food excellent, staff superb , rooms clean . Food again I cannot rate highly enough. This hotel screams old English etiquette with a modern touch . Really one of the best hotels and I highly recommend.
