Wasn’t expecting this hotel to be as big and beautiful as it was! Our room was stunning - a reaaaally comfortable bed and we loved the wall art. Loved watching the monkeys playing outside the balcony and having multiple pool options for swimming. Staff were lovely.

Hands down the best hotel in Sri Lanka. If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious, and unforgettable stay in Sri Lanka, you MUST stay at The Nine Mirissa. It's a fabulous location with stunning views and the building, including the pool, is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, the food (and drinks) are delicious. The atmosphere is super relaxed and homey. All of this within walking distance of the beach. We had a fantastic four days here, would give it 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it.

Only positive words for this hotel. This hotel is only 7 months old and it exceeded all of our expectations. Room was spacious and we loved the design. They had an amazing pool with a lovely garden view. Staff was extremely helpful, they even made us custom breakfast and let us have a late checkout for free. The hotel manager Sandunmalh was very professional.

We really liked the place, it was comfortable, good value for the money. We had hot water in the bathroom (which is not evident in Sri Lanka) and the in-house laundry was much cheaper then anywhere else. We would return any time.

Dylan and Company, as we would like to call them were an integral part of our beautiful stay at Mirissa. We booked a Deluxe Room which could be easily mistaken for a suite. The property does give you the option to pay in USD/INR/LKR. We booked breakfast with our room where Sri Lankan and Western options were provided. We chose the latter that consisted of ample slices of Toasted white bread, two Masala Omelets, a piece of Sausage and a slice of Bacon with fresh fruits, giant pots of Coffee and Tea, and two beautifully cooked Pancakes on our last day. Snorkeling and Beach Beds were provided for free with extra beach towels if needed and short yet delightful conversations alongside whenever our paths met. The beach is located literally 10m from the property and is mostly secluded although we visited it in July so the crowd could be subjective. At night when you run out of options or places, make a hot pot of beverage and sit on the comfortable chairs in your private balcony with the sea gaping right at you.

This property is an excellent stay in Mirissa, if we could give it more stars we would! The host family is incredibly kind, friendly and always greet you with a smile throughout the day. They provided us with a kettle and a charging adapter also for convenience. The facilities are great! The beds are comfortable, room clean and they have a full sized mosquito net around the beds. There is even hot water! The location was brilliant, there’s plenty of delicious food around, and in a short walk you can reach the Main Street. We ended up extending our stay because it was so great here.
