Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. This is the most beautiful hotel we have been to in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully situated, right by the lake, sitting on the terrace you can watch the sunset while having a delicious dinner (the best food we have ever eaten). The hotel is decorated with taste and class, spacious rooms, with a modern but related to the place decor. The family room we occupied is basically an apartment with two separate, beautifully decorated rooms and a spacious bathroom. It is spotlessly clean and smells beautiful. Very friendly staff and a very nice and helpful owner. We regret that we could only stay one night. We recommend it, because the place is really extraordinary!

We absolutely loved it here, we’ve even got a room upgrade when we arrived (thank you!!). Everyone is really nice and the food is just amazing, make sure to get your dinner here. The view to the fields & the lake is absolutely amazing! You can also rent bikes to get to the city.

This hotel was amazing. Nice and clean room with a pleasant smell. Very nice family. From the time we arrived till we left you feel so comfortable with them , make you feel like you are at home. A nice and fresh watermelon juice on arrival as a welcome drink .The food was delicious. They offer bicycles for free and let us use the washing machine.The organised safari was amazing. He also organised a tuktuk for us to take us to the bus stop to continue our next destination for Ella after morning safari. We recommend this accommodation.

An exceptional welcome from the very friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely room that lead on to the balcony with wonderful views of the lake. The setting of the hotel was beautiful and really peaceful. The hotel also organised our Yala safari, which was excellent. Just wish we had time spend a few days there

Everything. The place is amazing inside, very quiet and peaceful. The host is more than a beautiful person, so friendly, caring, and always responsive. I arrived yo another hotel by mistake since they have similar names and she called me to ask when I will be there. I explained to her that I got confused and I was in the wrong place and she had so much understanding about the situation and got worried that something may have happened to me. The hospitality of this place is just unique. The room was exactly as the pictures shown. Spacious, super clean, clean sheets and big bathroom, all new constructed and in perfect condition. There was a balcony with a wonderful view in the forest, coffee, a kettle, and cups to have your coffee im the morning, laundry service, food delivery at your room, and a fridge. There was hot water, very rare in Sri lanka, good water pressure, and place to hand your towels and things on the bathroom. WIFI was good, considering that you are in a Forrest and you can book the safari with them, better do it through your host they know they best guides!! Overall, it'd one of the best places I have stayed world-wide and with better quality and service from most of the 4 and 5* hotels I have been to, with a very reasonable price.
