Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Has a great pool area and pool. Good location for Yala and hotel organises it, best day in Sri Lanka so far! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Manager is lovely and dropped us in town when we needed to get a bus.

Our stay at Art Yala Boutique Resort was absolutely wonderful! Muda and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The food was amazing, and the location is simply stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the safari into Yala National Park that Muda organised for us. It was a seamless and memorable experience. The team’s thoughtfulness didn’t stop there—they even helped us book a restaurant at our next destination, which was incredibly helpful and kind. It was a great stay at Randy’s place. He and his wife was very welcoming and we had very homey feel. Breakfast was so delicious and he took us on a two hours trip along the lake bank and watched many species of bird’s, visited the museum. Randy’s place is one of the best and safest places to stay in Tissamaharama.

Thank you to the family which provided us this unforgettable stay here in Tissa. They are so friendly and helpful. Furthermore, very clean room and nice view over the lake especially for sunrise. The room was very big and we felt very comfortable. The safari the owner provided was amazing, we saw many animals. We did a sunset tour. To mention: I twisted my ankle some days ago when we were hiking in Ella and the owner of Double Lake View Tissa went with us to a hospital and drove us to pharmacy. This was so kind. Also the food was very nice. Overall, this stay was one of our best we had in Sri Lanka, we would definitely come back again.
