Jay’s and Anju’s place is one that cannot be missed! ! Located on the route from Dambulla to Kandy close to both cities and many other attractions, like hill walks or waterfalls. The hospitality they offer is 5 star and the authentic food, mostly prepared from ingredients grown in their garden, is just unbeatable. You can feel Anju puts her heart and soul into the food. You must visit if not for the night then for some authentic, delicious Sri Lankan food! Thank you for an amazing experience ❤️

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

This place is perfect. Its a real hidden gem, i would have stayed a lot longer if i knew how good it was. The service was pretty good and the communication with the owner was easy and he arranged everything we needed. I reccomend to stay here for a couple of days and enjoy the pool and the wildlife around the property

Amazing place in amazing location with amazing owners! I loved it from the very beginning. I usually travel with public transportation and Nadie helped me to get to their place from the main nearby town and later gave me a ride back. She also was very helpful with organizing for me a transport to main sights in the area - Arankele Forest Monastery and Ridi Viharaya (I had a scooter but it was also possible to go with a tuk tuk driver). Breakfast and dinner were made at home and they were delicious and the portions were big enough. I also had some fresh fruit juices and fruits, it was amazing! There is also a nice swimming pool with trees and bushes around. It’s so beautiful 😍 Important to note that there is almost no internet connection there, I don’t find it as a disadvantage but if you want to work online from there, that might be impossible. However, if you want to relax, go offline and enjoy the nature as me - that’s the best place to go! Thank you Nadie for taking such a great care of me! I will definitely be back! 🥰

One of the best stays of our 2 month trip in Sri Lanka! Best value for money. The room was spacious and clean, great shower with hot water, and breakfast could be enjoyed on the little veranda every morning. The bed was sooooo comfortable!! Location is a bit out of town which for us was ideal, since we enjoy going on walks and exploring our surroundings. The hosts were incredibly nice and attentive, and helped us to rent a scooter, and took us in and out of town when we needed. Sigiriya was just a short ~30min scooter ride away, Dambulla cave temple is just around the corner. For us this was the perfect end to our trip in Sri Lanka, thank you!!
