Suddenly we booked the hotel .we are not expected like such a welcoming by hosts.it’s such a like small jungle beside the road.such a valuable herbs ,spices and so many fruits in the garden they well maintained. Special thing is we sow so many birds and squirrels were playing around the garden.our room out side was full of flowers and trees Rooms are neat and clean,bed was comfortable with all facilities . Special thing is foods that they made from garden vegetable and home made spices,the best Sri Lankan rice and curry that I ever had.they felt like home to us. Loved see again that beautiful smiles and kindness.

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

The room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bed sheet, blanket, and a cozy bed that made for a good night’s rest. The bathroom was large with good water pressure, two mirrors, and even a small cube of soap provided. I also liked the thoughtful touches such as the wooden towel hanger and standing fan. Right outside the room, there’s a dining table overlooking the owner’s beautifully maintained garden, a perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful greenery. Dinner prepared by the owners (upon request) was delicious and felt home-cooked with care. Mr. Chaluka and his wife are genuinely kind and helpful hosts who go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. They also offer safari tours at reasonable prices, and for those interested in authentic Ayurveda treatments or spa sessions, Mr. Chaluka can also help arrange great options.

So beatiful and calmly place. Lake area is gorgeous and the view is stunning. Staff is helpful and friendly in every way. We booked at first only one night, but the we extended for 3 more days. Rooms were quiet big and comfortable. Clean and the food was ok, but not that special like we got in the rest of the country.
