We loved the location - expect a 40min to 1 hour drive from Ratnapura. The location gives you the views, the quiet, the jungle & tea plantations in one. Fresh water swimming pool, river swim on your door step. Trip to a waterfall that we had all to ourselves. The little tiny village is surprisingly active when it's pilgrimage time up to Adams Peak. The hotel is also a fabulous location for walks/ hikes.

This was our first night in Sri Lanka, traveling as a family with two teenagers, and it was a perfect stop between the airport and Ella. Since we landed the same day, we were very tired and really appreciated being allowed to check in earlier than the official check-in time. The hotel was quite empty, which felt a bit surprising given how nice it is. We had two rooms, both spacious, comfortable, and very well cleaned. The whole property has a calm and pleasant atmosphere, with a nice pool area where we also had all our meals. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with booking transportation, serving meals, or helping with anything needed. We found that the food was very good too.

It was one of the best value for money places i have ever stayed. The rooms are big with a lot of light and high ceiling that makes the whole experience more luxurious. We took the family room so we had 2 rooms together. They serve a huge breakfast! Deva and Sandun are 2 lovely people always at your service even with their limited english. Not to forget that there is a pool (very clean) and an amazing view from both the sides of the property.

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Very friendly staff who were so accommodating, I had lots of lovely food cooked for me. The location is perfect, the closest you can get to the hike. Nice clean room and facilities with a very comfy and warm bed.

The people running this retreat were so lovely and so helpful. The pool is exceptional. The pools in many, places we stayed we diisappointing as they were smaller than they liked in the photo. This pool was the reverse, it's large and gorgeous, you can actually swim lengths
