Incredible place, one of the nicest we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was just meant to be a stopover. Very comfortable room. Great common area and pool. River was really nice to swim in too. The best was the warm welcome from Lakshan and getting to chat with him. He is a great host and very good cook too! Would definitely recommend staying and eating there. Food was very reasonable prices and very good quality .

We chose to stay here for a few days after we landed at midnight from NZ . Beautiful property. Very comfortable, everything clean and staff exceptionally helpful & friendly. The property is a wonderful historic house that has been maintained to a high standard. The pool is amazing and overlooks the beautiful lake. The food is really good and the property gardens are on an impressively beautiful lake.The staff , chef, manager were all incredible and made us feel so welcome. They gave us a tour of the property’s coconut grove and gardens with cuisine menu sourced from fruit and veges grown on site, as well as guided complementary visit to local temple , weavers and a bike ride around the lake.

The stay at Kirindi Paddy Isle was truly wonderful. The place is set on a quiet paddy island surrounded by beautiful greenery and nature all around. The food was so flavorful, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They really made us feel at home. The rooms and villa were spotless and very comfortable. What we wanted was a place near the airport for our last night in sri lanka because we had an early flight home in the morning. What we got was exactly that. Plus we had a huge room right by the swimming pool, which was a nice thing on our way back, so we could enjoy some water and sun one last time. The fact that it does offer free airport drop off was really great. Transfer did work without any problems. Price was great too. We were more than satisfied.
