Such a beautiful house, the pictures don’t do it justice it’s even nicer in real life. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Helped us organise excursions in the Jaffna area. Breakfast is great and we also had dinner in the hotel a couple of nights which we also really enjoyed. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we ever go back to Jaffna

I loved my stay at the Thinnai (and Jaffna overall, it’s a shame that people skip this place). There was a small miscommunication about take away breakfast, but they sincerely apologised and made up for it with a surprise from the kitchen. Breakfast is also very nice and I definitely recommend the Odiyal Kool which tasted amazing!

The caretakers Thaksi and Ranjit make you feel at home (caution: they literally become part of your family if you stay long 😂). Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff and caretakers looked after me like I was family - particularly Robina and Spelwin. The breakfast was authentic, delicious and served with love. Staff were very accommodative of my needs and ensured to check in with me regularly. Facilities were clean and my room exceeded my expectation. Will definitely stay here next time.

We stayed is a large, cool and beautifully clean room. Bed comfortable and sheets soft. Great to come back to a big cool shower after the hot walks aground Jaffna. Easy to find and well located. Neighbour has a Tuk Tuk so lifts can be arranged or PickMe works well.
