The staff was really kind and gentle. He arranged breakfast and dinner. It was so delicious. Also yala safari was fantastic! My children enjoyed the swimming in the pool. Good air and natural surroundings. We really relaxed thanks for the lodge

Amazing location, next to the beach and surrounded by nature. The hotel is peaceful, simple and authentic, with hippie vibes. The host, Babou, is the kindest person ever!! He always makes sure you have everything you need. He welcomed us with tea on the beach at sunset, it was magical. They have a restaurant, we had the grilled fish it was incredibly delicious! We were lucky to be the only tourists there because it was low season, and we really felt like we were lost in paradise.

Our stay at The Yala Lodge was absolutely incredible. We had the great honor of being the very first guests – and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa and its private pool were so stunning that we actually postponed our safari by a day just to enjoy more time in this beautiful place. The villa is spacious, tastefully designed, and offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and pool. One of the highlights was being able to observe some wildlife right from the property – a truly special experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal was prepared with so much effort and love, and the food was fantastic. Communication with the very kind owner, Pradeep, was smooth and easy. He also provided us with great safari tips. Since we had to leave early for the safari (at 5:30 AM), they even packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us – such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless and met high Western standards – beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. If we ever come back to Yala, there’s no doubt – we’ll stay here again! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

Shehan is an amazing host and a great cooker. All the food was really good, and he was always kind and helpfull, making our days super sweet. Anything you need, he will help you for sure. He also does safaris and has a SPA to relax. The villa has everything you will need and the bed is confy. You are close to the beach and have a natural pool close by. It's a really nice local place to stay and chill. We enjoyed a lot and remmend 100%. Looking forward to come back again some day.

I had booked 1 room at Green House Yala however when we reached Mr. Santha informed me that the previous guest extended their stay so there was no rooms available at his Homestay however he managed to accommodate me at his sisters homestay which was equally good at the same price. His sister als was very friendly and down to earth. She made lovely breakfast for me - Fruit plate, string hoppers, black coffee, bananas, potatoes stew and King Coconut water. Breakfast was part of the package She made dinner on request for me - Chicken gravy, rice, 4 varieties of vegetables, papdam etc it was equally tasty and I requested to make it non spicy for me. Overall I loved my stay at her Homestay known as Vihaga Regency Yala.

A great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for a visit to the National Park should consider staying at Tringa and booking the tour with them as they will make sure you have a great experience.

The villas are spacious, lovely seating area outside. The place is nice and calm and the beach a few steps away is really beautiful and wild (even though in February the waves were too big to swim there, but the walks in the morning and evening were really nice there). We really enjoyed the breakfasts and especially dinners Shehan prepared for us, lovely seafood and fish paired with good wine which is rare in Sri Lanka. Shehan really took care of us and it felt like a home away from home.

A haven of peace in Kirinda. It was the perfect spot to unwind after busy travel days, beautiful pool and garden, delicious food and comfortable and clean accommodation. We stayed in the bungalow next to the pool and it was nicely appointed, good air conditioning and lighting. Shaluka the manager was very attentive and is a great cook! You can do safaris to Yala from here as it’s close to the park gate. Also walks along the wild beaches are nearby.
