Beldon Hotel was a spacious and very modern accomodation which was in a great location - nice and quiet as it was just a short walk up the hill from the bustling main street of Hiriketyia. The staff were lovely and the included breakfast was so delicious (endless options to choose from as well!) The Beldon was a little bit of luxury on our trip to Sri Lanka, would definitely recommend it!

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was generous with water and allowing us to us their clothes racks for drying clothes, The rooms were clean, large, tastefully designed and decorated, there was plenty of storage space, air conditioning and fans in all the bedrooms, mosquito nets were provided over the beds, very clean and large bathrooms. The garden is very beautiful and well maintained, we even spotted a peacock outside, early in the morning. All in all a beautiful building and rooms with attentive and helpful staff.

The property is brand new and offers a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom and a large garden with an outdoor shower, a small kitchen and a nice sitting area. It’s very quiet but still less than five minutes walking to the beach and restaurants. You wake up to the sounds of nature and can observe monkeys from here. The owner is super helpful and friendly. He even brought us fresh coconut to enjoy.

Immaculately clean and comfortable large rooms with great bathroom facilities. Perfect location to walk straight out the door to many great food options and beautiful Hiriketiya beach. The outdoor shower was a great addition for a wash off when returning from an early morning surf. Having the two upstairs rooms was great for our family with two teenagers. We appreciated being able to leave our bags for a few hours before we departed for our next location after check out.

A beauiful Place to Stay! Rooms are very clean and with much Natural light. Loved waking up here!! The mattress was very comfortable, we Could sleep very good at Night. In previous comments the Loud music was mentioned. For us it was Not loud at all, i Think the bar now has to turn the music much more low. We will come back!

The beach gets busy but you get the enjoy your swim and suf session despite the crowd. Since the beach is abit narrow you feel alot of people but mostly they are there to chill just like you. Wonderful atmosphere.

Hiriketiya was a great spot with beautiful beaches and...

Hiriketiya was a great spot with beautiful beaches and plenty of energy. There are lots of people surfing, which gives the beach a lively vibe, even though we didn’t surf ourselves. The food scene was really enjoyable - Smoke & Bitters was definitely worth a visit, even if it’s on the pricier side. If you’re looking for somewhere quieter, the beach at Dikwella is just around the corner and less crowded.

Amazing Beach town.

Amazing Beach town. So many beautiful beaches within close proximity. Loved the beach hopping. Great Bars. Smoke & Bitters & RAA have amazing drinks and food and a great vibe . lovely little cafes & restaurant and friendly locals

a beautiful place in SriLanka, great for surfing, both adults and kids, waves of all sizes, and super friendly people. Many local places around to enjoy great food. A really value for money place. I am super happy we went there

Great to enjoy the sea and the beach which was nice and calm...

Great to enjoy the sea and the beach which was nice and calm but also had waves further away for the surfers. The cocktail bars on the beach really add a lot to this location as opposed to many other beaches in Sri Lanka. Some of the restaurant's had some super dishes which were a real fusion of east and west. Also a few more places to explore and enjoy are Dickwella beach, Blue beach, Hummanaya blowhole and the dondra area.

It’s emerging and as such choice is large and prices...

It’s emerging and as such choice is large and prices reasonable. There’s plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Bars are varied from top end cocktail bars to beach shacks. Standards are high. Beaches are perfect.
