Beautiful and super clean and tidy resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a nice stroll into town along the beach. Easy enough to get a tuktuk on Uber or Pick Me if you're not up for the walk. Great place. I look forward to coming back. I don't think the photos do it justice!

Our stay at this hotel was simply magical! The hotel is nestled right next to a breathtakingly beautiful and serene lake, offering peaceful views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the gentle sound of nature and the shimmering water was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—freshly baked pastries, a variety of tropical fruits, rich and aromatic coffee, and a selection of delicious local specialties. Every morning felt like a luxurious feast, setting the perfect tone for the day. One of the best parts of this hotel was its location. A short, pleasant walk led us straight to the ocean’s pristine beach. The golden sand was incredibly soft and clean, and the crystal-clear water made it an ideal spot for relaxation and swimming. The combination of the peaceful lake and the stunning ocean beach made this a dream destination.

Hikkaduwa is one of the best tourist beach spots with friendly and helpful local people. The weather is cool even though we had some rain, but we stayed at the villa on the balcony watching people fishing kayaking and canoeing down the River. The beach area has some unique fresh seafood restaurants, surfing, snorkeling and you can even rent out glass-bottomed boat to see underwater world. There is also a Turtle Hatchery here and Tsunami museum for tourists. Beach is very clean.

Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March...

Hikkaduwa has fabulous beaches but when we stayed in March the flags were up for no swimming as the waves were so big. This was not a problem for us as we did not want to swim particularly but people that want to snorkeor have young children that want to swim may be disappointed. Great to be close to Galle but be in a quieter location. Aboit 20 mins by car. Lots of little bars and places to eat along the beach. Beaches are quiet and less full of tourist than Galle. There are quite a few stray dogs (everywhere in Sri Lanka) which don't bother you but do be mindful that they may go to the toilet on the beach so watch where you tread!!!

I was away for 44 nights in the sun. Swimming reading away from a cold winter. What else can you ask for. Got good food good people. Beautiful beaches, so many beautiful things to see. Fish everywhere, sharks ( baby ones) turtles. Elephants safari the place is awesome.

The accommodation was right on the beach and everything we wanted out of our stay in Hikkaduwa! The owner Dinesh was amazing and we had a really great time chatting to him and his staff :) we even got up early to go swimming with the turtles when no one was around which was really cool! The food here was also amazing (we are normally adverse to eating in hotels etc. but this was a complete exception and we didn’t want to leave!) would highly recommend to stay here.. definitely won’t regret your decision!

Suite Lanka is a lovely place on a rather quiet but beautiful stretch of Hikkaduwa beach. The hotel is very clean, the garden is extremely well maintained and the food (Sri Lanka breakfast) was excellent. All staff members are very friendly, attentive and interested and they are eager to ensure your well-being. Suite Lanka is the perfect place to relax in a personal atmosphere and enjoy the beach.

Very well situated hotel, in a calm and quiet part of Hikkaduwa. The rooms are big and comfortable. All of the rooms are sea front and you can always watch the sunset from the balcony. The hotel also features a nice clean pool and some wooden sunbeds and parasols. We really had a wonderful time here, its one of the best hotels we've been to during our stay in Sri Lanka.

Everything. Hotel is a beautiful boutique style residence with 4 bedrooms. Balcony and right on the beach. Fantastic rooms with all modern amenities. Infinity pool overlooking the beach.
