A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. The attention to detail was unprecedented, and the small touches everywhere continued to surprise us, even after a few days.

Beautiful and super clean and tidy resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a nice stroll into town along the beach. Easy enough to get a tuktuk on Uber or Pick Me if you're not up for the walk. Great place. I look forward to coming back. I don't think the photos do it justice!

Everything was just marvelous, the suit design, cleanliness and comfort. The view was astonishing and magnificent, we had a pool with jets like a jacuzzi in the balcony and it was spectacular. I am definitely coming back here. We extremely loved our stay. We had dinner in the Tempest restaurant, it was delicious and the Spa was amazing. Thank you Crystal Sands for making our stay an unforgettable one.

I stayed only one night, but I wish I found this place little earlier and was able to book this for one or two weeks, because I think it is great spot for long stays. The shared kitchen was also clean and great because I could cook myselfs.

My stay at Scenery River Star Hotel was truly unforgettable. Nestled by the riverbank, this hotel offers a breathtaking view and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, particularly the noise of Hikkaduwa. It is a lovely quiet paradise where neither the sound of cars nor trains can disturb the peace. The room was cleaned correctly, providing comfort, with a terrasse that offered a view of the river — a perfect spot for sitting and relaxation. A highlight of my stay was kayaking on the lake, which the hotel arranged for me. Paddling peacefully on the water was a delightful way to take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. What truly sets Scenery River Star Hotel apart is its commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff were always very helpful. I highly recommend Scenery River Star Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with impeccable service, stunning views and enjoyable activities like kayaking.

I made a booking at ABBA's Castland Villa , 1 night in...

I made a booking at ABBA's Castland Villa , 1 night in Ginimellagaha West , Sri Lanka , from 10 Dec - 11 Dec While I was close to this villa , I called this villa (around 1 hour before my arrival ). I was totally stunned when the person at ABB's Castland Villa told me there was a tree on the house for 2 days and I couldn't spend the night there !!! Actually I don't think at all there was a tree on the house . I think that Abba Castland rent the house for long duration to other people which is often the case in Sri Lanka. People are very highly corrupted in Sri Lanka et they lie. Please take appropriate sanctions against this property because - I had a valid reservation -While having a valid reservation, Abbas Castland villa didn't even send me an email to tell me I couldn't come there, this is a shame.
