A fantastic place right by the ocean. The hotel staff, along with the hotel manager and the hotel's four-paw manager, made us feel right at home from the very moment our car pulled up to the entrance. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are excellent. This was our 16th place to stay in Sri Lanka. It has to be the most peaceful, relaxing and chilled out of all. Lovely clean, spacious room, with a small seating area which we loved the views onto the lake. The staff were exceptional! We also hired their kayaks and went for a trip on the serene lake. We’ll remember this place and would definitely return.

Great location - just set back from the main road of Hikkaduwa. Pool area was great - very clean, pool towels provided and awesome sun loungers. Very comfortable room. Great breakfast with fruit platter. We definitely would stay again!

This was the most exceptional hotels I have stayed at, not just in Sri Lanka, but all my travels. The hotel is situated on the beach with a more than spacious room and sophisticated amenities. However, what made this hotel stand out was the way the staff treated us. They were proactive in their hospitality and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was pleasant and even the MD of the Resort personally came up to me and ensured that I was having an exceptional stay.

This was our 16th place to stay in Sri Lanka. It has to be the most peaceful, relaxing and chilled out of all. Lovely clean, spacious room, with a small seating area which we loved the views onto the lake. The staff were exceptional! We also hired their kayaks and went for a trip on the serene lake. This was the most exceptional hotels I have stayed at, not just in Sri Lanka, but all my travels. The hotel is situated on the beach with a more than spacious room and sophisticated amenities. I made a booking at ABBA's Castland Villa , 1 night in...

I made a booking at ABBA's Castland Villa , 1 night in Ginimellagaha West , Sri Lanka , from 10 Dec - 11 Dec While I was close to this villa , I called this villa (around 1 hour before my arrival ). I was totally stunned when the person at ABB's Castland Villa told me there was a tree on the house for 2 days and I couldn't spend the night there !!! Actually I don't think at all there was a tree on the house . I think that Abba Castland rent the house for long duration to other people which is often the case in Sri Lanka. People are very highly corrupted in Sri Lanka et they lie. Please take appropriate sanctions against this property because - I had a valid reservation -While having a valid reservation, Abbas Castland villa didn't even send me an email to tell me I couldn't come there, this is a shame.
