The food was outstanding - the best we had in Sri Lanka! The staff were welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much trouble for the butler, Mogu. The accommodation is outstanding - private, comfortable, impecable. We went on four half-day safaris, including one to block 1 and one to Bundalla, and had an incredible time. It was the highlight of our two week Sri Lankan holiday. Our guide, Kithmee, was a pleasure to spend time with. She was knowledgable, passionate and personable. She took time to get to know us, our interests and priorities, and our other experiences in Sri Lanka. Then she worked hard to optimise and customise our experience. She was so genuinely excited for us when we got to see the animals on our bucket list - and we got to see them all.

The staff were very helpful & always happy to fullfill our needs and requests.Malintha was very welcoming & always made sure we were comfortable & happy. Nilmini, Pradeep & the rest of the staff always made us feel at home. The food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast. Pradeep made special Sri lankan breakfast for us. The service was exceptional & 5 star rating. Credit to Malintha for managing the hotel to the standard it is providing it's guests. I'll recommend Kynrock hotel to anyone who wants a 5 star experience down south. A beautiful & memorable stay for my family. Will go back next time without a doubt.

We came to Kataragama for 2 days of a full day safari tour. The place is simple, clean and ideal for that 2 -3 nights stay close to the Yala National Park.. There is no hot water, but the weather was so hot that we won't need that.

The garden is exceptionally beautiful with peacocks all over the place. The stuff was super nice and did their very best to fullfill all of our wishes and requests. We visited the sacred city which was a very special experience. We also saw several elephant families around the Yala park.

A Wonderful Transformation – A True Hidden Gem! Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. It's clear the new management has poured love and effort into this place, and it shows everywhere you look. The upgrades are fantastic: a beautiful new swimming pool, a gorgeous new restaurant area, and lovely updates to the rooms and backyard. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the service was excellent and so attentive. A special thanks to the manager, Anu, who went above and beyond to check on us and attend to all our needs, making us feel incredibly valued. With all the amazing improvements and the incredibly warm service, it truly felt like a second home. We will definitely be coming back again. This place has tuned into a real hidden gem!

I have rarely been welcomed so warmly in a hotel; you immediately feel at home. The scenery around the hotel is breathtaking and the staff is even more professional and courteous. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which tasted very good! Demmi was also very accommodating, read every wish, really crazy. Our esteemed Chamma drove us from the hotel to Trincomalee, a real guide who has Sri Lanka in his blood, he knows so much about this country and is very accommodating. We have already booked a second trip with him. Sri Lanka and this hotel is a dream.
