I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Everything was very clean, the location is excellent, and the price is unbeatable for what you get. The breakfast is incredible—just $3 for a huge and delicious spread, totally worth it! If you’re planning to explore the city, I highly recommend renting an electric bicycle directly from the hotel. It’s super convenient and offered at a very budget-friendly rate. Although the rates are low, the service feels like a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended—I would definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful opportunity to see a giant squirrel close up. We took some fantastic photos. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. It was close to the sacred city. I learned to cook seven delicious Sri Lankan dishes during the cooking class. Highly recommended. .

This has to be the best accommodation in town. The property was simply stunning. Exceptionally well run by a beautiful family who are attentive and caring to all your needs. We arrived late at night from Wilpattu and the hosts swept us off our feet with their hospitality. We were fed a superb dinner and given a much needed drink. The breakfast was also excellent with a bevy of fresh fruits, tea, coffee, and juice on offer. The room was big and equipped with all the right amenities including a good shower, fridge, and AC. At one point in the night the power did cut out but a simple flip of the breaker outside our room and we were back up.

Everything was great, especially the breakfast. A special mention to the generosity and the hospitality of the team that manages the property - Nilusha, Hemantha, Nimisha and Mahesh especially - they made our stay so pleasant, it felt like we were their family. The property itself is beautiful - comfortable rooms, well maintained bathrooms, good water pressure and hot water availability, and easy access to the old city.
