A beautiful hotel with a lovely pool and stunning sea views. You’re right on the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful — nothing is ever too much for them. The owner’s son even personally took me to the hospital. Always smiling, such a warm and welcoming place. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant also serves delicious food. It’s only a 4-minute drive from Hiriketiya.

A fantastic stay! Villa Honeycomb is a gem—small, clean, and complemented by a wonderfully spacious garden, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped and incredibly useful, making it easy to prepare meals. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the host is an absolute professional and a joy to interact with. Highly recommend!

Spacious apartments for both single and double bedrooms. Had all that we needed. Close to Hiriketiya and Dickwella beaches by foot. Close to restaurants/ cafes/shop. Could see wildlife(monkeys, giant squirrels, peacocks etc. from the balcony and in close areas ). Caroline was very welcoming and helpful. The welcome drinks was a nice touch.

A highly recommended new and excellent hotel. The rooms have good bathrooms and showers, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The hosts speak good English—Surein is incredibly kind and helped us with many questions about the area and recommendations in Sri Lanka. His staff member, Sakith, is a hardworking, smart, and friendly guy. Everything we asked for was provided immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely return!

Charith & Nishadi are the most amazing hosts. I came for three nights and stayed nineteen! A decent little righthand break was in easy walking distance and Hiriketiya just five minutes away on my scooter. The smaller room, which I had, had a view out to the break and received a cool (ish) sea breeze. I'll definitely be returning 😊

Absolutely a 10/10 experience every time! I’ve stayed here three times now, and each visit has been better than the last. The place itself is cozy, impeccably clean, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere—it truly feels like a home away from home. But the real highlight is the host! Not only are they incredibly attentive and accommodating, but they also happen to be an amazing chef who genuinely loves cooking. They offer to cook meals for guests, and trust me, you do not want to pass up the chance! This is hands down one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and unique getaway!

Lovely quiet beach -large - next to its much smaller and busier little sister Hiriketiya You can have the best of both worlds if you stay in Dikwella as it is only a km walk ( pleasant ) to Hiriketiya Sunbeds are free if you if you buy a drink We particularly liked Freedom Place at far end by the trees

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of...

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs.

I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean,...

Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

It's a very calm and chilled vibe.

It's a very calm and chilled vibe. Not many beach boys bothering you. The villagers are super friendly. The beach is amazing. There's just something very special about this place. You have to experience it yourself to know.

We stayed here for two nights, the hotel is well located in between Hiriketiya and Dikwella beach, the room was spotless and very modern with everything you need. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety to order from but what made our stay was the effort that all the staff put into making my girlfriends 30th birthday so memorable, they decorated the room with balloons a cake banners and all sang happy birthday! Thank you again what an amazing bunch of people

Malinda is a beautiful host and took us to a lovely point to see the sunset. The hostel is 5 mins walk from dikwella and 5 mins walk from hiriketiya beach, but still nice and peaceful. The beds were comfy and everyone had a fan which was lovely. They have a washing machine you can use for 500rupee and a kitchen if you’d like to prepare your own food. We loved this hostel!

This place is a real hidden gem! The owners are so welcoming and friendly and the breakfast each morning was SO good! Everything was spotlessly clean and modern and the room had everything you need in terms of AC, plugs by the bed etc. The location is also perfect, right next to dikwella beach and only a short walk down to Hiriketiya beach. 100% recommend!!

The breakfast was great (Sri Lankan breakfast) and the room was good. It was clean and it was nice with two fans. A mosquito net would have been nice, but with the fans it was not really an issue. The outdoor area is very nice! The staff was very friendly. The location is perfect, it's just between Hiriketiya and Dikwella.
