This was the best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. What truly makes it special is the family who owns it — they are incredibly kind and caring. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. An absolute hightlight is also the rooftop! At first, I stayed with a friend, and they did everything they could to make our stay perfect. After a few days my friend left, and unfortunately I got food poisoning. As I was traveling alone, the whole family took care of me — driving me to the hospital and bringing me food and drinks constantly.☺️🥰 I will never forget their kindness and isupport.🙏🏻🙏🏻

The Villa is new, just three months old, so everything is in perfect condition. The location is superb, away from the noise and bustle of the main road yet just a very short walk to the supermarket and bakery! The spaces are huge and the inclusion of a kitchenette and refrigerator make it complete! Then there's the host family. So very lovely & helpful throughout my stay. They secured a scooter for me plus an early morning (5am) tuktuk to the train station upon my departure. And, as I was there for the Sri Lankan new year they invited me to have a traditional breakfast with them 🥰🙏

Sanko’s family made our stay in Hiriketiya truly special. His mother prepared delicious meals daily, kept the place spotless, and even offered laundry service. The location is calm yet just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, away from the noisy main road, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed meeting Sanko’s wife and mother. Highly recommend this lovely place!

Everything. It is a brand-new pleasant hotel with a few large rooms. The room has everything you need inside, it is modern and super clean. The AC works very well and the wifi is excellent, the fastest internet I had in all Sri Lanka. The most important thing is the kindness of the people who run the place. They helped me with my trip, they even went to the train station to check the train schedule for me, and negotiated the price of the tuk tuk to get to the station. The hotel is also very well located, I did everything on foot, and there are plenty of nice restaurants and yoga places around. I recommend ++++ this hotel to anyone. I felt very well and safe there.

Charith & Nishadi are the most amazing hosts. I came for three nights and stayed nineteen! A decent little righthand break was in easy walking distance and Hiriketiya just five minutes away on my scooter. The smaller room, which I had, had a view out to the break and received a cool (ish) sea breeze. I'll definitely be returning 😊

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

That was the best home stay experience in Sri Lanka. It is located a few minutes away from the beach. Place is exceptionally cosy, clean and comfortable. Room was just beautiful with nice bed, private bathroom with hot shower and all facilities you can imagine. We used the kitchen for cooking our food which was great after long weeks of traveling. Big thank you for the host family - you made our stay here simply wonderful. We recommend this place if you plan to stay in Dikwella.

We had a perfect few days here, so much so that we came back for an extra 3 nights! The location is a short walk from both Hiriketiya beach and the Main Street which leads to Dikwella, and is nearby other restaurants and hotels. The room was clean and had a lovely view - the only thing we were missing was hot water (but this wasn’t a problem if the weather was warm enough!) The host lady was lovely and went above and beyond for us. Many thanks!

After two weeks travelling around we wanted to unwind and stay at one location for 3 nights, Asiri Villa is truly a new gem in Dikwella. Asiri Villa has lovely decorated clean and spacious rooms, family suites and a top appartment. Lovely pool, outdoor shower, and the staff is incredible friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us Darshana and Indiga! By tuk tuk it’s only a 5 min ride to the Hirikitiya surfsport. We extended our stay.

We weren’t planning on coming to Dikwella but our itinerary changed and we’re so glad we did. Casa Smeralda is such a magical, peaceful place. Amazing to be away from the crowds after Ella, which was full of people! We wish we had stayed here longer and hope to return in the future. Heavenly! We walked 10 minutes to Turtle Point and saw turtles. The staff were lovely. Amazing pizzas and drinks. 10/10
