I stayed at Greenline Homestay after completing stage 16 of the Pekoe Trail. The accommodation, the service and the food were all first class. The host, Sumedha, is really on top of his game. I couldn’t fault him and what he offers. In the 16 stages of the Pekoe Trail I’ve completed so far, this place has been the best.

So far it was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. We were lucky to be the first guests of this wonderful place. Room is clean, everything is new and it feels very cozy. This was honestly the best service I’ve experienced. The host family were so friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything we needed to know about Ella. One of the highlights was the incredible view. Watching the train pass through the hills was absolutely magical. Even after we checked out, the host kindly called us to make sure we were safe and comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ella!
