This place was such a pleasant surprise! They opened recently, so everything is brand new and perfect, but what really stands out is how much the owners clearly love what they do. You can immediately feel it in the cleanliness, the kindness, and even the care they put into the decorations. The bathrooms are spacious and spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and everything feels welcoming. Truly recommended!

This lovely hotel is very good located close to the center of Dambulla. The wonderful staff, particularly the manager charminda is a very nice person He is proud of the hotel and shows everything with a big smile on his face. The girl and the boss are also very kind and helpful. The good breakfast. The cleanest of the hotel and room everything was so good. They can organised everything for you so fine. The tuk tuk driver was a very funny guy. The hotel can arranged him also very fine.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a perfect space to relax after exploring Dambulla. The hotel’s atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with a great balance between modern comfort and natural surroundings. We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from...

We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

The staff of this hotel are what makes this place. They will go above and beyond to help without you even needing to ask. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. It is a nice calm spot off a very busy street. We also must mention the exceptional Tuk Tuk driver who brought us around Dambulla on our first day and a fantastic sunrise trip to Sigriya followed by some additional stop offs that we would have missed out on without his knowledge. This was a fantastic recommendation from the hotel.

The staff was amazing! We visited Dambulla with the tuktuk for free and we were taken to a viewpoint for the sunset close to the hotel. We went to Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya by tuktuk for 16k and even saw an elephant on the side of the road. Food was amazing as well, expecially the dhal! Perfectly located, we took the bus on the main road to Kandy (2 hours and 270 rupees/person). The swimming pool was the icing on the cake after a long day under the sun :)

In Dambulla there are many good accommodations at good prices. This is one of them. Large room and bathroom, hot water impeccable cleanliness, balcony, refrigerator, air conditioning and impeccable staff. From the balcony you can see many squirrel lemurs and various beautiful birds. Breakfast is a choice of English or local and it is good.There is a parking area in the hotel if you have your own vehicle

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We did not want to stay near the very touristy area in Sigiriya with western cafes so staying in Dambulla was a more authentic Sri Lankan experience. I would recommend the Gold Crown Residence.
