During my stay, I loved my room with its high ceilings and balcony where Doggo Tuppy naps every afternoon. It's amazing how cool and comfortable the room felt with the strong fan despite the hot weather in Dambulla during April and May. The food and working area was perfect for me as a co-working space, especially in the mornings and evenings. Super aesthetic views! One of the most pleasant surprises of this trip was Api's hospitality. He shared his insights and experiences of doing business in Sri Lanka, and he even went out of his way to pick me up from my previous hostel, which was easily 15km away. Additionally, he drove me to the bus station at 3:30 am, all free of charge. ( Oh! And the trip to this aruyvedic massage place which was the best massage I've had in SL). Your hospitality is top-notch, Api!

Great place! The room was comfortable and spacious. The checking-in process is a very quick and warm welcome with delicious juice. The villa is run by a nice family, and they are always helpful & friendly. Breakfast was really great. 10minutes walking distance to the Dambulla Cave temple & the golden temple. Safe & lovely place to stay. Highly recommended for budget stay. Thankyou for such a great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the very beginning, making me feel right at home. The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Plus, the location couldn’t be better – just a short walk from the city center, perfect for exploring everything without needing transportation. Highly recommended!

I stayed at a hotel in Summerset for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent—staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. Even though it was a short stay, everything met my expectations. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-serviced hotel in SummerSet.

We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from...

We chose not to climb Sigiriya (having just recovered from Adam's Peak!) but instead chose the much shorter Pidurangala which afforded a fabulous view of Sigiriya. Highly recommended. A visit to the Bawa hotel, Heritance Kandalama, is well worth it as an insight into the brilliant architectural mind of Geoffrey Bawa.

Dambulla is an excellent base for exploring Kandy, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. We stayed there for 4 Nights and could cover the heritage sites easily. Dambulla Caves are a must-see and so is Sigiriya (just 16 Kms. away). Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa are around an hours drive but Dambulla is much well-connected and less touristy.

I loved everything they have amazing vibe, nothing was to much trouble . All staff kind and helpful. Dambulla is quiet but has local shops, cafes Pizza Hut, great small restaurant a few miles from Evergreen serving very good food. It's run by the people who run Evergreen. So recommended by me.. Anything you want to do or go and see will be arranged for you Tuk Tuk guy is a staff member . If you need car/driver it will be arranged.

A quiet and cozy garden with Jackfruit Trees and a nice pool from which you can see monkeys playing in the trees. Near the main junction in Dambulla. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Great location. Nice staff. The road to the hotel is dark at night, yes. But it is a short and secure walk. .

The please is really nice! its very close to Dambulla - Colombo road, but once you turn to the hotel road it feels like you are entered to a jungle and from there on wards you will feel real tropical life feeling through out the stay.
