The staff were incredibly caring and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed every meal, from the beautifully prepared breakfast to the delectable dinners. The variety and quality of the food exceeded our expectations. The panoramic suites offered breathtaking views that took our breath away. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was truly magical. The fitness gym was fully equipped with top-of-the-line equipment, allowing us to maintain our fitness routine during our holiday. The infinity pool was a highlight, with stunning views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Overall, our stay at Marino Beach Hotel was a truly wonderful holiday experience. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

After what this country has been through, this country...

After what this country has been through, this country surely need lots of financial assistance to redevelop its infrastructure. . There is hardly any lighting on the streets. As the sunsets it's pitch dark. I myself would find it difficult to drive on the roads. Secondly restrooms need to be built.

Unlike olden days, Colombo looks very clean and beautiful. Also noticed less honking on streets, though we still see ruthless behavior of bus drivers and other motorists not respecting road signs or rules. However, in few hours you will realize that is the norm and you will start enjoying it as a passenger. Excellent food and eateries with reasonable prices. You can easily Uber to any place within Colombo with much ease.

Colombo is a great city with lots to experience. The people are friendly, plenty of good museums, churches and temples. I'd say you dont require a long time in Colombo but it is good for shops and eating out. We loved the Gallery cafe. that was super.

Colombo is a great city - big and bustly.

Colombo is a great city - big and bustly. I'm glad that we got to stay in the heart of it, but was glad to move on as well! Tuk tuks are the best way to get around the city centre - wherever you stay, your concierge can summon a reliable driver. The Lotus Tower was a great attraction - views over the city from a panoramic platform. There's a restaurant called Nugu Gama at the Cinnamon Grand - if you enjoy authentic Sri Lankan food give them a try. The venue is unusually like a British pub but the food ??? - it has ruined Sri Lankan food elsewhere for me as it was DIVINE!!!! The locals are always hospitable and friendly. Enjoy your holiday - we did.

Colombo is a sprawling metropolis with busy traffic on the roads. There are a few places to visit, if you're in town, but frankly not worth dying for. One is better off visiting rest of this beautiful island nation.

We booked this hotel super last minute for our last night in Sri Lanka before leaving the next day. Found it on googlemaps when looking around the area as I had an appointment nearby the next morning. The place is new, all new finishings, smells new, modern, room was really amazing it exceeded our expectations and would definitely go back if back in Colombo. Friendly and helpful staff although we spent less than 24hrs there. Cool rooftop with pool !

The best hotel i stayed in Sri Lanka. New, big rooms with ac and confortable beds and pillows. Useful amenities for shower and for a quick tea or coffee. The stuff is nice, accommodative, quick response, good tíos and information for visiting. It’s the second time staying with them and i will do it many more times. Small gem in the middle of luxory hotels so close to main attractions.
