We visited Horton Plains and were looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and like home — and Tea Sprig Villa Boralanda was the perfect find! This is one of the newest and safest villas in the area, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. We stayed for 2 nights, and what made this place even more special is that we were their very first guests — what an honor! 🙏 The family running the villa is super friendly, warm, and caring. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. The clean fresh air, hot water, and beautiful surroundings made us feel like we were in heaven. This place is quiet, clean, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and recharge. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and unforgettable experience. We will definitely come again. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cape House, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and our stay was nothing short of perfect. A special mention must go to the manager, Eranda. He is one of the kindest and most inventive managers I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay incredibly enjoyable. He was especially wonderful with my son, making him feel welcome and special throughout our visit. I highly recommend the Cape House to anyone looking for a remarkable place to stay. We highly recommend this hotel! The staff is exceptional—always attentive and ready to assist with anything we needed. The food was so good, thanks to a talented chef who adapted the menu to suit our requirements. Everything was fresh and made with high-quality ingredients. Our family of 10 stayed at this hotel over Christmas, and we were all extremely satisfied and happy with our choice. The garden and swimming pool were wonderful bonuses. We initially hesitated between several cities in the tea region, but choosing Haputale turned out to be perfect. It’s a charming village with only locals and no mass tourism, offering a truly authentic experience. One morning, we woke up early, took a tuk-tuk, and visited Lipton’s Seat—it was magical! The colors and landscapes made it one of our most memorable moments in Sri Lanka. We also had the chance to take the train from Haputale station, which added to the experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in the mountains, don’t hesitate—this place is perfect!
