What a wonderful place surrounded by a tropical forest! Everything is as it is depicted on the images - super clean, spacious, a nice balcony and the lovely host-family does everything to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was really good and also a lot (with fresh papaya from the garden) and we were asked if we wanted more. We also got fresh fruit juice and coffee / tea during the day. There were fresh flowers in the room which made me very happy It's just a short walk to jungle beach and the peace pagoda. It's a bit remote but we liked that a lot cause it is very quiet. In case your taxi can't find the location (it is very new in the bsuiness) just give the driver your host's phone number and he will help (taxis / tuk tuks often work that way in Sri Lanka). We had a wonderful time here and definitely want to come back! All the best to the lovely family!

The hotel is amazing, the decoration,, pool, and the staff if so friendly, installations are perfect, seeing monkeys playing in the trees across the road, the breakfast is divine! Especially the fruit juices and the yogurt with muesli etc. Also have a very good value laundry service. Location is great, a little out of town but only 5 minutes in tuktuk to the ford. We did the early morning boat tour as well 100% recommended !

This is the place where you want to stay while visiting Sri Lanka. You spending your holiday in the history of this country. A spice traders house built in 1860 and completely renovated recently with lots of taste. The rooms, the living and dining areas, garden with the pool, everything is so beautiful and it feels it’s your own private home. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing and very tasty. The manager and all the staff are extremely helpful and super friendly. As it’s just a bit outside of Galle Fort, it’s super calm. But only a short stroll to reach the harbour with the local fisherman and the old town by foot. If not, a Tuk Tuk ride takes 5 minutes. Everything was just perfect.

Beautiful hotel interior. All staff are very friendly and always smiling. It was nice that there was beach access. The attentiveness of the staff is what really made it stand out like contacting us before we arrived to ensure we were all set and they helped organise our activities. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others

Lovely location - close to the action, but not in the middle of it. Wonderful service - Ashan, who manages the entire villa is polite, helpful and friendly. The room was large, comfortable and clean.
