The most amazing place off the beaten tracks and what an unforgettable experience! We took a TukTuk from Hatton and were already stunned with the panoramic route on the way. We fell in love with the place the moment we arrived and loved everything about it: great room (your own little house), yummy food (especially the Sri Lankan breakfast) and the best sunrise and nature views in the middle of a tea plantation. But in the end what made the stay unique was Sumith the owner and hosts, who is really caring, provides you with a great tour to waterfalls, tea factory, etc. and really focus on your well-being. A must-go for every nature lover who really appreciates personal and loving hospitality inside-out! (Better to book via Airbnb)

Extremely nice location in the middle of a tea estate. Very helpful and always friendly staff. Good kitchen with south Indian dishes. Many Option to get in contact with locals while wandering around in the tea plantation. Great for walks .

Most beautiful staying in Srí Lanka,it wasn't luxury but that touch of the history you should feel it, great kitchen and amazing very kind stuff. Very nice garden and we very enjoyed ourselves walking in tea plantation

The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

Perfect place to have a short rest before hiking Adams Peak ! Room was clean and spacious. Even got warm water that was appreciated after the hike. Breakfast served was great and hosts really welcoming.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!! Stayed here for two nights and it was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with lovely views and peaceful surroundings with many birds to see. They had recently had some wildfires nearby so apparently in normal times you can see even more wildlife than what I saw during my stay. There is also a stunning waterfall nearby (almost in the hotel grounds) that the staff take you to and that you can have completely to yourself or perhaps with a couple of locals. I also did a hike with the staff up to the mountain behind the hotel which was great. Then afternoons spent lazing in the pool, chatting to the staff and with complimentary High Tea as I watched the mist float through the mountains. There were no mosquitos in that area too which meant that they could have the large windows open (even at night!) with one whole side of the hotel open to the fresh air and views. There are only two rooms in the hotel, though they have plans to build another couple of buildings in the future (though also with a very secluded feel). I was the only one there during my stay which meant I had the whole place to myself 😍 The best thing about Capoe though is the staff. Isham, Eranda, the wonderful chef and the gardener who guided the hikes. They were all so friendly and attentive and really made my stay, especially as I was a solo traveller and they were very friendly and chatty (though also give you your space when you need it). I've never had a private butler before, let alone one that is trained in both wildlife spotting and making cocktails! Thanks so much Isham, you made my stay really special 🙏🏼 Can't wait to come back on my next visit to Sri Lanka! ❤️

This is a beautiful property, the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely in a sunny area with views of the mountains. This was even better than described. The room was very large with a great bed and bathroom.
