A very nice place to stay. A very beautiful place to stay. It is very clean. The bathroom is very clean. The bathroom is very clean as is the bedroom. We stayed for one night. The staff was very kind and friendly. We had dinner and lunch there. We had the most delicious food in Sri Lanka. I was very happy. We wanted to stay for two more days but we didn't have a reservation for two days so we had to leave the next day. We highly recommend this place. The beach is just in front of you. You can walk to the beach. There are tall trees. The place is quiet and peaceful. This place is a good place to relax.

We loved everything here. Very charming property by the beach with really beautiful furnitures and very comfortable. The staff is amazing, they are caring, they do everything for you to feel good and have the best experience. They spot every detail for you. The chef deserves a micheline star. The food experience was delicious. It is the perfect place to recharge. Thank you to the staff of kalkudah beach house for making this place a wonderful moment for us.

Excellent apartment. Spacious two bedroom apartment that was spotless. The hosts went out of there way to be of assistance. Would highly recommend due to the location to the beach and restaurants. We did have an issue with the air conditioning and a servicemen arrived within hours to repair

The villa is newly built. It is sparkling clean, the service is extremely good. In the kitchenette there is an air fryer, small electric stove and microwave. The host is attentive and helpful and speaks great English. Beautiful backyard to layback. We will definitely come back here if we are around. Mind that location is a bit off site but this was not a problem for us as we had a car.

Batticaloa is very good city, peaceful, less traffic, sort of more rural touch as compared to Colombo. People are also very cooperative and helpful in all ways. Its a small town. The beach is also very neat and clean. There are many local restaurants and hotel. We can find good food there.

Batticaloa was warm and humid, but that is more than made up for by its breathtaking beauty and abundant seafood. The town is exceptionally clean, surrounded by water, and radiates a serene charm. Pasikudah, in particular, took our breath away. With its pristine beaches and tranquil waters, it’s nothing short of amazing—a true gem on the eastern coast.

Small, cozy homestay in a quiet area, very close to the beach. The area is fenced and there are a lot of plants in front of the house. The main street in the town is about 10 minutes walk away, from where you can easily get a bus to Batticaloa. The room and bathroom are neat. The room is quite small, but sufficient, mosquito nets over the beds. The common space is a table with chairs and a large fridge. We highly recommend this place. And the best recommendation is that we came for 2 nights and stayed 6.

I was skeptical that they were new to Booking.com but it was worth the risk. Arul is a very friendly host together with other members of staff. One of them prepared us a typically SL coffee. Wake up in the morning and face the Batticaloa lagoon and the KALLADY BRIDGE. Lovely views. We asked for continental breakfast which was served by the friendly Arul himself. My wife a non-Srilankan loved this hotel. The place is clean and properly maintained. Good quality price value.

The hotel was alongside the lagoon which was very beautiful but not used much or to it's full potential by the hotel. The room was large and well equipped and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The man providing housekeeping was very helpful. Overall a clean and adequate accommodation
