This hotel is, with no doubt, the best hotel in Hikkaduwa (and probably in Sri Lanka) The location is perfect, the rooms are amazing (well organised, incredible views, all the amenities you can need, soft towels, good coffee and tea…), the breakfast is the best one we have had in Sri Lanka (awesome!!!), the pool is fantastic and the staff is the best that the hotel keeps…thanks to Franzi for all the recommendations, attentions and care ❤️). We really didn’t want to come back home 🥹. The relation quality-price can’t be better and I do not understand yet why the hotel just keeps 5 stars! Should be at least 6! Really, the best place in Sri Lanka for relaxing, surfing or enjoying the sun. We will be back as soon as we can Thanks!!!

The SAFFRON Robes Living is a spectacular place, perfect for staying in Hikkaduwa, close to the city town but in the middle of beautiful green surrounding, with amazing and extremely kind personnel, the best service of (among others) Theekshana, me and my partner will come back for sure and we are very grateful for all the wonderful welcome that we received. The stuff is very helpful, they arranged for us yoga class and transfer to the airport, even brought me the Incenses to but that I couldn’t find. The breakfast was delicious, the room very beautiful, big, with two beautiful pillows to sit on them and really nice balcony. We could really relax there, also they have a Saffron Gallery which is simply a spectacular place to visit (just around the corner) and admire or buy some gifts. Special thanks again to Theekshana, we will be back!

The place was beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and very well equipped. The personnel Nishanthi and her family (mother and her husband) were so warm and friendly. The first day at check in Nishanthi offered a fresh juice made of passion fruits from her garden. She recommended us to go kayaking which we did, it was beautiful we saw many varans, bats, birds, and beautiful nature. At check out her husband cut a fresh coconut for us and took us for free to the train station. We highly recommend this place. everything was great.
