The best hotel I've ever been privileged enough to stay at badulla. The elegant décor of the rooms, top-notch amenities, and high-quality services are the prime attractions of this hotel. I have stayed at a dozen hotels but this was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff from guard room to reception were there for every need of mine.This hotel is indeed a hidden paradise with comprehensive amenities. We tried the Sri Lankan Breakfast, it was very tasty. They served it fresh and on time. The staff at the restaurant & front desk were very friendly. Mr. Travis from the operations was extremely helpful in providing information and making arrangements. He is an asset to the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel while sheltering from Cyclone Ditwah so we were not expecting to stay here. They were able to find us a room which was basic but comfortable. They found us dinner which was delicious and plentiful. Under the conditions at the time they did very well. I don't think this is normally a hotel for western tourists but it is fine if you need to stay here.

The accommodation is wonderful, from its wild setting to the extremely welcoming hosts and the activities they offered (like swimming in a local, non-touristy mountain river and visiting the 'mini World's End').
