We had a perfect stay at Lucky Bay. The rooms are right on the main street at Arugam Bay, meaning you’re one turn away from most shops and eateries. We didn’t have to use an auto rickshaw the entire time we stayed. The rooms are standard for Arugam Bay in general, but very clean, relatively quiet at night and with good AC. Last but definitely not least, the host/housekeeper Mo was gracious, diligent and respectful. He goes the extra mile to help his guests with anything they ask, and deserves all credit for his great service. Big ups and all five stars to Mo and the team!

Spectacular sized room with enormous comfy bed, desk & comfy beanbag chairs, fridge & coffee/tea making facilities. Then on top a huge bathroom with wonderful shower plus an entire private enclosed garden. Then the pool was amazingly clean & all the staff super friendly & attentive. What's not to love!

This hotel is brand new, so everything feels clean, fresh, and modern. The facilities are excellent — each room has a lovely outdoor chill-out area, and the garden adds a nice relaxing touch. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Everything is perfect. It’s a great distance from the centre of town, easy walking and far enough away to be out of the hustle. The family is so nice and extremely friendly and welcoming. I think it’s the best place in Arugam, for price, location, the room. They also make delicious food.

You are more likely to meet a European than a local here. This is definately not a reflection on Sri Lankan culture, however the beach town is slow and quiet (realtively speaking) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. And of coure, the surf is consistent and the water warm. It's a winner for a beach holiday.

The best feature of Arugam Bay is the surrounding jungle, lakes and lagoons. The main beach is very busy but other beaches, such as Peanut Farm are less crowded, Do thye Lagoon Safari and a park safari but also try surfing and relaxing on the beach.

still relatively not crowded by the locals due to the distance, and miles of unspoiled, beautiful, isolated beaches to be found. Surfers paradise, but the seas can be a bit rough for the average sea goer. accommodation can be a bit overpriced during season but you can find some reasonable accommodation if you search and ask around.

Best And Best Place + ❤️Hidden Gem in Arugum Bay!❤️Location is perfect to everything you need (restaurants, beaches, convenience stores). Property nestled well within nature with a Huge tree keeping the property cool in the afternoons, a hangout area and a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal. Marina Way staff are the friendliest I've met in Arugumbay and work hard everyday to make sure the property is always looking neat and clean! Thank you to Ameen and his great team for being so accommodating!

We had a great stay at Dream Garden in Arugam Bay! The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly the guy at the restaurant and the cook who were just lovely. Our room was decent, and we appreciated the comfortable bedding. The food was amazing! The kitchen makes their own pizza, and the cook is great at advising what to eat. The pool was nice, although the water was a bit warm due to the heat. The hotel is located a bit far away from the hustle and bustle of town, which was great for a relaxing stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Twinkle Bay Hotel. The rooms are adequate and clean. It is in a prime location in Arugam Bay, not far from the beach and the shopping street. The hostel owner Muza is very accommodating and nice. He took care of all my needs. From staying in the hotel room after I checked out to taking me to the bus station from where I left. I loved it and would come back anytime!
