We had a lovely stay at this small, family-run hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with A/C, making it very comfortable. We enjoyed having easy access to the pool and the cute outdoor terrace, which was a perfect spot to relax and have dinner. What made our stay truly special was the owner and his son, who spontaneously offered to take us for a ride to show us around town. Such a friendly and thoughtful gesture!

It’s a pity we discovered this place only at the end of our trip, as we decided to stay here the night before our departure. Located 15–20 minutes from the airport, this spot is truly delightful. Facilities are clean, neat and extremely pristine. Location is very relaxing and the view from the garden is simply superb. The owners are a very sweet family; all of then made our stay simply perfect. They were over every single detail to make our time there the best investment we could have made during our trip. Our recommendations for other travelers is just “make yourself a gift and spend time in this place”. Hiru Lagoon it’s just a piece of heaven on earth.

Mr Basil and Mr. Priya on arrival were very welcoming and friendly. Caring about how my fought had gone and making sure the check in process was quick and efficient. During my stay Mr. Basil was very conscious and attentive that my stay was good and comfortable. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Mr. Basil and was always keen to help done with a smile and a kind word. I have to mention the food, both breakfast and dinner prepared by Mrs. Lathi. Both were of excellent quality and very delicious. I went for Sri Lankan breakfast which was a great choice. Tasty, plentiful and very well prepared. The first nights dinner was some of the best tasting food I have eaten in sometime. Mrs. Lathi’s dhal was out of this world. Thank you. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
