Really nice place for my layover - yes, modern, clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, seems almost new…AC, coffee, balcony...owner left me fruit for breakfast! I wished I could have stayed longer but I needed to catch my flight. Thank you!

I had the Creole bungalow for 6 nights. I checked in early morning on December 21 and settled in the room. It is a 45 min walk to Vieu Fort and a 45 min walk from the 1912 Moule a Chique lighthouse. You need to bring food with you. The owner drove me to Faye Gastronomie at 11 am and I bought all my favorite French foods and wines for the week. I highly recommend that French specialty store and they also have a restaurant called L'artisan. My cottage was perfect, a double bed with a mosquito net, a small kitchen with all the appliances, a big chair, a large table on the deck, 2 loung chairs on the deck and 2 in the garden. It was a little piece of heaven. It has louvered doors all the way around and all kind of critters around. I had the best view of the Caribbean sea, the pitons and sunsets. It is close to Sandy Beach and there is also a great fish and seafood place called Tato's, an ocean blue shack right before Coconut Bay. You can eat it or take out dishes. Everything was amazing, especially the grilled rock lobster with garlic butter.

Anne and her husband Cletus are fantastic. They spend a long time every morning cooking traditional breakfast. The breakfast is varied every day. On the Sunday, they invited me for a family dinner that was fantastic. It is really like staying in a warm-hearted home. (I extended my stay twice…) It is some distance from the main road, but the buses are easy to use. And the atmosphere is genuine small village Saint Lucia with fantastic nature around.

Like foreign countries news. We enjoyed taking the tour to the soufriere and the street party. We enjoyed most of the local cooking
