Lovely hotel, ideally situated very close to Mekong River and to the village centre. We had a beautiful, huge room with a great view of the garden and river. Comfy bed, bathroom with really hot water. Very tasty meals (we had dinner and breakfast) that you can take in the beautiful garden or on a little terrace right beside Mekong River. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the large, clean swimming pool; beach towels and leisure chaires are provided. The morning market on the edge of the village is very special and we highly recommend to go there as early as 6 am.

We absolutely loved staying at the Don Som Riverside Guesthouse, best place to stay and eat in the 4000 islands. Our little bungalow was super confortable and the shared bathroom was spacious and always clean. We had the view on the Mekong and we spend a crazy amount of time in the hammocks in front of the bungalow. It's a bit further from the rest of the 4000 islands but definitely worth it, the owners are adorable and will do anything to help you and make your stay an awesome experience. Also the island itself is very pretty and only locals live there so if you looking to get away from touristic places, this is your spot! The food is delicious there, breakfast, mango shake and my favorite: their pad thai. Water is free and they have plenty of activities. We went fishing in the Mekong and rented their scooter to visit the different islands. We would have stayed at least a week there if we could. Highly recommend!!

Lovely, kind staff. Spacious, well designed, very clean room. Beautiful river view from the restaurant. Excellent meals and snacks. Bike hire available and 3 lovely swimming pools to relax.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with very good English. Arranged the transport from the hotel to Don Det for free. The room was on the ground floor and A/C worked very well.
