Without any doubt the most atmospheric place to stay in downtown Thakhek. We especially loved the dark wooden floors and our romantic balcony. Our room was spotless clean and comfortable, without all the extras that we never use anyway, and even came with a lovely hot shower. Included breakfast was simple but delicious and served with a smile in the great open restaurant downstairs. Filter coffee as much as you want. Service was friendly and helpful. Initially there was some confusion about the room we booked, but the staff was very understanding and willing to look for a solution. We regretted we only could stay one night and definitely would choose again for Inthira on a next visit to Thakhek.

This accommodation leaves nothing to be desired. It was by far the best place we stayed at in Laos. The staff were incredibly helpful and always open to any request. The property is beautifully maintained and the plants create a true Garden of Eden feeling. I can highly recommend this accommodation. Absolutely top

Great rooms in this great hostel. It's perfectly located around 50 meters from Mekong river. Perfect to eat dinner while watching the sunset. They give you a towel to use for free. Enough showers and toilets. Also free drinking water.

Great location, clean rooms, confortable. Catty is very nice and helpfull. She let us choose the room we were the most confortable in. She can keep your bags while you go on the loop and let you have a shower when you get back, for free.

We stayed in a dorm and the beds were super comfortable!! The staff is all very, very kind! We also had very good noodles here. Also the outside area is just so beautiful and great to chill here!

It's worth staying for a day and a night just to see the...

It's worth staying for a day and a night just to see the historic area with the French colonial buildings. The place was pretty empty when we were there and some restaurants were closed so it's not really that happening during the rainy season. Managed to get two nice sunsets which was a bonus because it was raining for much of the time we were there and we had zero expectations of seeing a sunset on the Mekong whilst in Thakhek. Food was average (but we didn't go to the expensive places).

It's a great view of city and village life.

It's a great view of city and village life. You do the loop and that some what sums up your trip. I did hit the Mountain you take a boat under and I took the "Back road" by mistake and ended up driving 58km though Laos villages Seriously the best part of the trip. I got to see a side of Laos 99% Of tourist never will so def. something worth seeing if you find that back road, its not hard to see if you do the loop backwards from what hotels advise you. the caves are great, Dragon cave is a SERIOUS hike, the first few caves just east of the town are barely 5 minute visits and are used for praying not so. much tourism.

Great hotel, room was comfortable, great shower. The location is perfect, we had good breakfast included and also had dinner at the restaurant. It was above average, considering the places we stayed in Laos.

A group of us stayed here before doing the Thakhek loop for four days. Anna was very helpful with information and we had a lovely breakfast too. She allowed us to leave our rucksacks there while we were away

Clean beds. Good location, not far from the boulevard. Great vibe. They give information about the Thakhek loop. Option to leave your backpack when going to the Thakhek loop. Opportunity for Workaways.
