This is my second time staying here - i like the location, with Lotte Mall only 15 minutes walk away. There are convince shops close by, next to the bus terminal. The room is a good size and staff very helpful. Parking is also easy and plentiful.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway in Gunsan and exploring the surrounding islands. Especially the kotatsu, powder room and breakfast were very thoughtful and made staying at Hwadam Inn comfortable :) Stylish & affordable with a local vibe. Recommend 100%!!

Fair amount to site see...but could do so in a day or two. Moms across the street had great burgers. Fried Chicken and fries plate was unbelievable! Delicious and alot!!! Easy a dinner for two or an appetizer for an entire table. Went to see local Japanese styled Buddhist Temple and small Museum of Strife which documented Japanese occupation of the area.

Arriving at the building, I was a bit confused about where...

Arriving at the building, I was a bit confused about where to go, but after making a phone call, I took the elevator to the third floor. As soon as I got off, I was greeted warmly by the office right in front and guided to my room. The room was in good condition, and the bed was not as small as I thought, so I was able to rest comfortably. However, the soundproofing isn't very good, so I think we should be careful after 11 PM. There's also a communal lounge, so you can watch TV or enjoy simple board games. It was nice to be able to have a quick breakfast of ramen, toast, and soup and enjoy my trip. It's located on Jjamppong Street and close to restaurants like Iseongdang and museums, so it's convenient to get around. Thank you to the kind owner. I had a great time. Stay healthy.

I spent two days in Gunsan, and the Gogunsan Islands were my...

I spent two days in Gunsan, and the Gogunsan Islands were my travel destination, but I only drove, which was a shame. Next time, I plan to spend more time walking and enjoying the nature. It seems cheaper than other tourist destinations, so I'm considering it as a place to live for a month. I mainly ate spicy fish stew, and I also tried bread and jjambbong from Iseongdang, which were delicious. I also bought dried fish at the fish market to bring back to the US. Looking out at the sea from the Saemangeum Seawall, I'm filled with awe and gratitude for the great achievements of the Korean people.

very kind and helpful staff, close to the bus terminal, close to a bus station. spacious room with a very huge TV. very clean, big bathroom with waterfall shower. The room came with a small breakfast. there is a water machine in the lobby just like a coffee machine. you can wash your clothes and dry them there. there is a microwave and a fridge. it had everything you needed. and the price was really good for such a beautiful place. if I visit Gunsan again I will definitely book this place.
