Unforgettable, and I wanted to share how wonderful the experience was. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the warm welcome and outstanding service provided by the staff. They were always attentive, friendly, and willing to assist with anything I needed. They ensured every aspect of my visit was smooth and enjoyable, from organizing tours to providing local tips and recommendations. Their genuine care and hospitality truly stood out. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The hotel’s location was ideal—just a short distance from the bustling markets and incredible temples, yet quiet enough to offer a peaceful escape.

Staff was extremely helpful and flexible during our stay (I recall Ms. Kim Yean and Mr. Lyna, but kudos for the whole team). Good location, clean rooms, and neat facilities. We can also recommend the private tours that are available at the reception desk for discovering the Angkor area.

The place is very well located and the rooms are amazing. The pool is also very nice and with a good view. The staff is extremely polite and always eager to help. One of the things I also really liked was that I could leave my bag to go to an Angkor tour and it's stored in a private room where only the staff goes (they put a tag on your back and give you a papper to get it back after), which made me feel very safe about leaving my backpack in the hotel

We stayed twice at The Elephant in our recent trip to Siem Reap it was overall a fantastic stay. Location is quiet and far enough away from the busy centre but close enough for a quick grab or even walk if you can handle the heat. The pool was great the food and drinks were also good. A little suggestion breakfast could have more options and variety. The staff are absoloutely amazing so friendly and accomodating. When returning from being out you get a huge smile and warm welcome evrry time. We had a little issue with our air con and they fixed this immediately and gave us a new room. Thank you to all the team for making our stay perfect. We will miss you and see you again in the future.

Siem Reap is great, if you know what you're going there for...

Siem Reap is great, if you know what you're going there for and plan your time accordingly. We like to explore new places properly and didn't go on holidays for a while, so decided to take the plunge and book for the whole of THREE WEEKS there... Luckily, the Resort we've picked was largely great and a very good value for money, which made our stay very enjoyable overall, but if you think that you'll have plenty of things to do around town as a tourist - after you've visited the Temples, Pub Street, found a nice coffee shop and bought a few things from the Central Market - you'd be wrong. Our assumption was that as the place is very spiritual (Temples and all...), we'd find plenty of Yoga everywhere - as we do in Bali. Nope! Unfortunately not, and this is only one example of where your (pretty logical and safe) assumption won't come true and end up being a disappointment. So once again, if you come here with a specific itinerary, and stay no longer than one week, you will love it. You could stretch it to 2 weeks if you love just hanging by the pool and enjoying trying new restaurant every night. But three weeks? Really, not recommended.

Everyone must visit the temples of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat...

Everyone must visit the temples of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat in their lifetime. Amazing!!!! Mind-blowing. Just beautiful. All temples have clean (lots of TP) western-style restrooms with nice restaurants near by. And the Cambodian people are lovely - so helpful and grateful. Don't miss this amazing piece of history. On par with the pyramids of Egypt for "wow-ness" - but a much less expensive trip. And visit the landmine museum and give a well-needed donation. Great vacation destination!!

Visiting Siem Reap is a MUST.

Visiting Siem Reap is a MUST. The 10 primary temples and ruins are spectacular and each has its own unique features. Also visit the floating village on Tonle Sap and bring gifts for the children or buy them at the general store (such as school supplies, candy, etc.) -- and have water shoes or flip flops with you, too. The roughly 4,000 families are very poor, but still live in gratitude. It was amazing to see. Also, visit the Cambodian Elephant Sanctuary, which is small and intimate, and gives you hilarious, hands-on interaction with their three rescued elephants. Near there, you should also visit the Cambodian Landmine Museum, and see a demonstration of landmine removal. It was very sobering experience. If you are really adventurous, spend half a day visiting a firing range. You won't believe what you can get access to there. It's not cheap but is a one-in-a-lifetime experience.

A true 5 star hotel, amazing and highly professional staff, wonderful design throughout the whole hotel, very clean, really welcoming atmosphere, beautiful pool and breakfast area (very outstanding from many other hotels in Siem Reap). Only 5 minutes to the Center by the free hotel Tuk Tuk. Everything more than perfect! Only downside: you hear the traffic from the street - but that‘s the case at most hotels in Siem Reap and many of them do not meet 5 Star quality at all. Highly recomended!

I decided to extend my one-night stay in Siem Reap and found the best offer through Tripadvisor. The hotel not only provided early check-in but also upgraded my room to a villa. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel boasts a stunning garden that surrounds the villas and extends to the pool area. I am planning to return to this hotel for a longer stay and will definitely recommend it to others.
