We spent the weekend at Koh Ta Kiev Island Resort, and I can say only good things about this place. It’s very beautiful — surrounded by jungle and turquoise sea, and at night the water and sand were glowing from the plankton. The food in the restaurant was very delicious. There were plenty of activities for children, both in the sea and around the resort, and they absolutely loved it. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

A hidden gem in nature! If you're looking to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with nature, this eco-stay on Koh Ta Kiev is the perfect escape. Nestled on a quiet, undeveloped island off the coast of Cambodia, the experience is raw, real, and refreshingly simple. Accommodation is under canvas tents set just steps from the beach or tucked into the jungle. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to birdsong was pure magic. The tents are basic but comfortable, with mosquito nets and mats provided. The French couple owning the place were warm, welcoming, and always happy to share stories or help organise island activities. Whether it’s snorkelling in front of the beach or hiking through the forest or simply drinking a cold beer on the deck of the restaurant or swinging in a hammock with a book, this place invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Highly recommended for adventurous souls, nature lovers, and anyone seeking an off-grid experience with heart.

This place is so much more than paradise, it's home. Beautiful island, beaches, jungle treks, and secret hidden spots all over the place. You forget about the rest of the world when you're here and instantly feel like a part of the community. We loved the rustic feel of everything and to disconnect from the world, it's perfect. Love the staff, they are all so warm, kind and friendly and super hardworking. It takes a lot of effort to look after and to maintain places like this cut off from the fast paced world off of the island. So we really appreciate all of the work and care that the staff puts into keeping the place functioning. Everything was perfect. The island is amazing. The team is fantastic. My dog and I will always return for more. Love the KTK family.

I had a wonderful 5 night stay at Kactus! The rooms and bathrooms were kept so clean for a beach front hostel. The rooms were comfortable. What really made my experience were the staff, both volunteers Coco and Nico were so friendly. Highly recommend the jungle trek with coco. The local Khmer food was also great.

We stayed in three of the different resorts on this island and in our view Nak’s shack is by far the best! The five simple cabins have a tremendous charm. Each of them are well separated from one another and front directly onto the beach, which is a beautiful stretch of sand, with fantastic sunset views and luminescent plankton in the sea at night. Nak is a great host and went out of his way to look after us and to make everything comfortable for us. His girlfriend cooks delicious food and whilst the beach can have visitors in the day, by three or four in the afternoon and until about 10 or 11 in the morning it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful and gives you the ultimate in desert island pleasure! You can choose to sleep on the double bed inside the cabin or in the one outside on the deck, each have mosquito nets and there is also a hammock with each cabin. We absolutely loved our time here!

Great location and price. Very friendly. Clean room and bedding. Walk out to the main street, turn left and walk for about 100 yards. You will find a great place to eat, fresh, made to order and cheap. Not open for breakfast.
